✨ ADVENTURE WALK UPDATE! ✨

Our weekend group walks have been super popular this summer, so we’ve just added some new slots! Have a scroll through the photos to check out our current availability for August and September.

🗓️ Saturday 22nd August:

Extra walk added on the 22nd, spaces potentially available now on the morning and afternoon walk. Three spaces across both walks.

🗓️ Sunday 20th September: Two spaces available.

🐾 Ultimutt Members: These walks tend to be booked up quickly, as such these spaces may not last long! For full details and to book your pup’s spot, please send us a message via WhatsApp. We keep our specific schedules private from social media to ensure a safe and happy adventure for all the doggos!

Heart is full after a lovely time with family in Wales, but it feels so good to be back home in my happy place with the pups! 🐾 Nothing resets you quite like a good walks with all these lovely faces. ❤️🐕

Social media always makes the sunny days look picture-perfect, but let’s be real for a second… ☀️🐾

This week has been a beautiful, exhausting, whirlwind of a week. Between the soaring temperatures, the changing routines, the drop in sleep, and hayfever, the grind behind the scenes has been heavy.

When routines shift and the heat means shorter walks or crack-of-dawn alarms, it can get surprisingly lonely and draining running a small business on your own. If you’re a fellow business owner or pet parent feeling a bit out of sync or tired right now—I see you. You’re definitely not alone!

But boy, those early morning tail wags and quick comfort breaks have been absolute magic. 🐶✨
No matter how rough the lack of sleep gets, seeing your pups and doing right by them is always the best part of my day. Keeping them cool, safe, and happy is my number one priority, and their sweet faces make every single early alarm worth it.

Thank you to all my amazing clients for being so understanding with schedule shifts this week. To everyone else pushing through a tough, hot week—we’ve got this. Take a breath, stay hydrated, and give your pups an extra cuddle from me tonight! ❤️

🐕 What makes a pet business a pet business? 🐕

The dogs? Of course.

But I think it’s also the person behind it and the values that guide every decision.

This week is a good example. With the heat ramping up again, I’ve got plans, back-up plans, and sometimes back-up plans for the back-up plans. Every decision is being made by looking at the individual dogs in my care and asking one simple question: what is best for them?

I’m encouraging anyone who is able to be home with their dog to cancel if they wish, with free cancellations throughout the week. Where possible, I’m offering alternatives such as early morning walks, comfort breaks, pop-in visits, shorter walks, extra shade, slower-paced outings and plenty of water.

Does it mean less income? Yes.

Do I still need to make a living? Absolutely.

But dog welfare has always been at the heart of every decision I make.

One of the simplest rules I follow is this: if I wouldn’t be comfortable doing it with my own dog, I’m not going to do it with yours.

Heat stroke is a very real and potentially life-threatening risk during a heatwave. No walk, routine or income is worth taking that chance.

For me, running a pet business isn’t just about showing up when conditions are perfect. It’s about making the right decisions when they’re not, even when those decisions aren’t the most profitable.

The dogs trust me. Their owners trust me. That’s a responsibility I’ll never take lightly. ❤️🐾

🐾 Weekend Adventure Walk Update! 🐾

Our first Adventure Walk is now complete and what a brilliant day it was! 🐶🌿

Thank you to everyone who booked on. We had lots of fun exploring, sniffing and playing.

There are still a few spaces available on some of our upcoming Adventure Walks, so if your dog would love a secure field adventure with friends, get in touch to reserve a place.

🐾 Saturday Walkies 🐾

With Barney, Nelly, Sox, Ruby, Bobby and Lexi we went to the lovely Swallowfields Farm Secure Dog Field this week.

The dogs seemed very happy that a previous user of the field had left tons of balls and play equipment out 😅

Our next Saturday walk is on the 27th June, it was fully booked but two spaces have just opened up! So if your dog is suitable for a group walk and already walks with us or has… and you want them to join in just let me know! 🥰

Busy week so far… 🐾

Not every day goes exactly to plan—traffic, roadworks, bin lorries, and school runs can all have other ideas—but despite the occasional delays, the dogs have all enjoyed their walks, plenty of sniffing, exploring, and time with their friends.

Safe to say there are some tired and happy dogs heading home. ❤️🐶

Olive and I had our first little UK Staycation, not staying with friends or family. We went to the lovely Bainland Lodge Retreats after a few years of watching other enjoy their breaks and well we had a fab time- a perfect spot for a get away and so well set up for the dogs. We stayed in Bramble which is one of the pet friendly lodges with its own enclosed garden. Joined by our friend and of course her spaniel Rosie. I can’t wait to share a little more of our time there and tell you a little more about it!
