🐾 Saturday Walkies 🐾

With Barney, Nelly, Sox, Ruby, Bobby and Lexi we went to the lovely Swallowfields Farm Secure Dog Field this week.

The dogs seemed very happy that a previous user of the field had left tons of balls and play equipment out 😅

Our next Saturday walk is on the 27th June, it was fully booked but two spaces have just opened up! So if your dog is suitable for a group walk and already walks with us or has… and you want them to join in just let me know! 🥰

Busy week so far… 🐾

Here’s a selection of photos from the week so far!

Not every day goes exactly to plan—traffic, roadworks, bin lorries, and school runs can all have other ideas—but despite the occasional delays, the dogs have all enjoyed their walks, plenty of sniffing, exploring, and time with their friends.

Safe to say there are some tired and happy dogs heading home. ❤️🐶

Olive and I had our first little UK Staycation, not staying with friends or family. We went to the lovely Bainland Lodge Retreats after a few years of watching other enjoy their breaks and well we had a fab time- a perfect spot for a get away and so well set up for the dogs. We stayed in Bramble which is one of the pet friendly lodges with its own enclosed garden. Joined by our friend and of course her spaniel Rosie. I can’t wait to share a little more of our time there and tell you a little more about it!

The dog walker vs hayfever… a battle nobody warns you about 🤧🐾

One minute you’re living your best life, the next you’re eyes are leaking and your sneezing your soul out while trying to convince a dog that yes… we do actually have to leave the field eventually 😂

Add in getting stuck behind every bin lorry on the route during pick ups (walk 2) and drop offs (walk 1) today and it’s safe to say the universe was testing my patience 🤣🚛

Still wouldn’t swap it though… even if I am surviving on antihistamines and determination at this point - might need to source some local honey 😅☀️🐶

Honoring the life of a legend: Bentley. 🦴🌈

Bentley was a Ultimutt Adventures OG joining us back in 2021, and saying goodbye is incredibly hard. Swipe through to see some of my favorite moments with this handsome guy.

Bentley’s adventures changed as he got older. When arthritis made walking with the pack a bit too much, I still got my “Bentley fix” twice a week when picking up Lexi and Hudson. He never failed to trot out and greet me with those iconic, wonderful ears of his.

One of my most recent cherished memories happened just recently. On one of my last visits, he came right to the door and tried to follow us out the door as if he wanted to hop in the van for one last ride with the gang. It broke my heart and filled it all at once.

Bentley, you brought so much joy to your family and to me. It has been an absolute honor to be a part of your life from our very first walk to our final goodbye. I’ll be looking for you in every sunset and on every path we used to walk together.

Run free now, wee man. You were truly one in a million. 🌈🐾

Saturday Strolls

Was lovely to see Lexi, Hudson, Sox and Bobby. As well as Binky, Bea and Saffy and Ruby yesterday. I had a needed five days break, but I still missed all the Ultimutts crew while I was off. Good to know they missed me too- I got some lovely greetings and they all were so well behaved on their walks 🥰

There was a change of plan… meaning we will be working over the bank holiday weekend, there are some remaining places for existing Ultimutt dogs if anyone needs / wants on the group walks we already have one scheduled each day. There is also some availability for small pet care and cats visits.

Back to normal scheduling on Tuesday 5th May. 🥰
