🌿🐾 Price Increase 🌿🐾
Words nobody wants to hear, I know! And a message I hate sending out. But in almost 5 years I’ve only ever had one price increase, and who the cost of everything going up, I can no longer sustain my current prices.
🌿 All walking services will have an increase of £2
✂️ All grooming services will have an increase of £10 (some clients are already on the new price plan - I will send out individual messages)
Both both effective from 1st December 2026.
Just to give you a little bit of an insight behind my decision making:
Please remember I don’t just “pocket” all income. This is a business and 20% of all my earnings are a tax bill, and that’s not including national insurance.
For walking services, my fuel for the month is approximately £200 and I also provide all equipment, poo bags, treats and the maintence of my vehicle is costly.
For grooming services I pay rent on a room and one 5L bottle of shampoo is around £65.
I also pay for public liability insurance, marketing, training etc - these are just some examples of money that is gone before I even see it.
After that, any business needs to make a healthy profit - and currently mine is paying for my bills, mortgage and nursury fees with very little left over. I hope this helps everybody to understand why an increase is needed - whilst I do love my job, nobody starts a business just to get by.
