Today is World Mental Health Day 💜

At Rosie’s Ramblers, I see every day how much dogs and time outdoors can brighten a day, bring people together and give us a moment to breathe.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re recognising how much time outdoors and good company can help when life feels difficult.

Sending love to anyone feeling stuck, lonely or having a tough time. Check in on your people as a little support can mean a lot.

Rain, wind, sunshine… then back round again. Huddersfield couldn’t pick a weather, so we had the lot! 😂

The weather didn’t sit still and neither did the dogs. A fantastic day out in all weathers, rounding off the week with muddy boots and a very happy bunch.

Happy Friday from Rosie's Ramblers! 💜

We’ve had lots of new followers recently, so I thought I would share about the face behind Rosies Ramblers Dog & Pet Care.

I’m Jen, usually found out and about round the Colne Valley with Rosie, my working cocker spaniel. To say I love animals is an understatement. Ask anyone that knows me.

From Manchester, I come from a travel and hospitality background. I moved to Huddersfield during the pandemic and worked as a carer. Working with dogs was always my dream, but for years I never thought it would be possible. After COVID I decided to become a dog walker.

There’s nowhere I’d rather be than outdoors with dogs. Getting to know their personalities, earning their trust and watching them grow in confidence is the best part of what I do.

I bring patience, care and experience to every walk. I’m DBS checked, fully insured and qualified in Level 3 Canine First Aid & CPR, and I take the responsibility of looking after your dogs seriously. Every dog deserves to feel safe, understood and cared for.

Heading into our fifth year, I still love it, even when the weather is taking the mick.

Thanks for being here and supporting my little business. It means a lot.

A big welcome to gorgeous new Rambler, Spoon! 💜

Spoon is a beautiful 6-month-old Lurcher Bull Cross puppy and an absolute sweetheart.
She’ll be joining me for puppy visits to begin with, before progressing onto group walks when she’s ready.
I can’t wait to spend more time with this lovely little girl and watch her grow in confidence as she becomes part of the gang.

Its our 4th birthday!! 💜🐾

Four years ago today, Rosie’s Ramblers began, just me and Rosie, and here we are four years later!

A massive thank you to every single person who has trusted me with their dogs, cats and even chickens, recommended me, supported my little business and been part of the journey.

And obviously, to Rosie. My little red superstar 😂💜

Happy 4th birthday to us! 🥂

Here’s to many more adventures with the best bunch of dogs in Huddersfield. 💜
