These lovely three just had to be shared. Alfie, Ozzy and new addition Freddie 🐾

We visit these lovely three lads for their routine care at home, and have been doing for a few years now. They're just lovely and our vet loves to see them.

Ozzy and Freddie get their health checks and parasite control sorted at home. 🐱🐱

Alfie gets his vaccines, parasite control and regular blood tests to monitor him as his senior years start to roll around. 🐶

They're very well taken care of by their owner, and we're always happy to be part of their care.

Success story 🙌✅

How home visits can be a game changer.

Please meet Belle 🐕 who was so very anxious about the world, the people in it and the car that she struggled with day to day life. Her family love her very dearly and have been completely committed to helping her build her confidence in a way that worked for her.

We were able to visit Belle at home to prescribe some medication to help manage her anxiety, whilst she was also working with a veterinary behaviourist on confidence building. When we first met Belle she would hide under the table and it was difficult to even get a collar onto her. After some very hard work, commitment from her family, and multiple home visits for new prescriptions everything in her world has changed.

Belle can now go into the car, visit new places and even go to the groomers! She's reached a stage where she can now go into a local vet practice for care, and we're so glad to have been part of her journey.

Well done Belle and family 👏

If you've recently said goodbye to your pet, please be kind to yourself. ❤

Some people want to talk about their pet all the time. Others can't bear to look at an empty bed or lead. However you're feeling, it's okay.

If you're finding those first days or weeks especially difficult, there are some wonderful organisations that offer free pet bereavement support, including; the Blue Cross Pet Loss Support Service, the Ralph Site and the Pet Loss Support Page. They understand just how profound losing a pet can be and are there to listen whenever you need them.

Vets 2 Your Pets are honoured to help families through one of life's hardest moments. We also know that the support you need doesn't end after you've said goodbye.

Please remember, you don't have to go through this on your own.

Home can be the kindest place to say goodbye. 🏡🐾

For many pet families the thought of that final trip to the vet can feel like too much.

Choosing euthanasia at home means your pet can stay somewhere familiar, with the people they love, their favourite bed, familiar smells and all the little comforts that help them feel safe.

There’s no rushing and no stressful car journey, just time, privacy and gentle support from our team.

Every family is different, and every goodbye is different too. Our job is simply to help make those final moments as calm and peaceful as we can.
