🥳 What an amazing day we had at the Kilmacolm & Port Glasgow Agricultural Show 🐾💜

My first year as Dog Convener and it was such a huge success (I think! 👀😂) We absolutely loved being part of such a wonderful local show and it means so much to support events that bring the community together 🤍

A massive thank you to .davidson74 our lovely judge, for being so kind, patient and gentle with every single dog — taking the time to listen to all of their little stories 🥹🐶

And of course, thank you to my incredible team!! I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you all. The absolute dream team ✨

A huge thank you as well to all of our amazing customers and supporters who came along throughout the day. Seeing so many familiar faces, wagging tails and people supporting us meant the world 🥹
We’re already excited for next year! The show is the second Saturday every May. Make sure to get the date in the diary & we hope to see you there ☺️🥳

The sun has been shining and it’s been one of those perfect weeks at daycare ☀️🐾

The paddling pools are out, the cool pads are down, and we (and the dogs) couldn’t be happier 🥳

We’ve also welcomed some lovely new faces to the pack this week — and they’ve fitted in like they’ve always been part of the crew 🤍

Plenty of fun, plenty of splashing… and just as importantly, plenty of rest and recharge time too 💤

Happy, balanced pups all round! We hope you have a great weekend making the most of the sunshine! ☀️

We’ve got some exciting news! 🐾

Steph, our owner here at Pawz&Co., is the new Dog Convenor for the Kilmacolm & Port Glasgow Show 🎉

The show will be held on Saturday 9th May at 10am at The Knapps, Kilmacolm—and it’s always such a brilliant day out for both humans and pups!

There will be lots of fun dog show categories to enter, chances to win prizes and a great community atmosphere 🐶🏆

We’d love to see as many of you there as possible—bring your dogs along and get involved!

You can pick up one of the show brochures at reception for more information.

After three amazing years with us, Lisa is heading off to start her dog grooming journey and we couldn’t be prouder of her.

Thank you for all the love, patience and care you’ve given to every dog that’s walked through our doors — you’ve made such a difference and they’ve all adored you (as have we).

The place truly won’t be the same without you… or your laugh 😂

And of course, we’ll be missing Kaya & Anya— the best little helpers and always such a joy to have around ☺️

Wishing you all the success in this next chapter — we know you’re going to smash it. You’ll always be part of the family here 💜

•Must have experience handling dogs
•Reliable, hardworking & able to work well within a team
•Positive attitude & good energy
•18+ only

What we’re looking for:
Someone who is confident with dogs, brings good vibes to the team & is happy to get stuck in with the day-to-day running of a busy dog environment.

✨ Weekly Round Up ✨

We had our first little taste of sunshine this week and it’s got us feeling hopeful that spring really is about to spring 🌤️

We’ve also welcomed a few lovely newbies into the pack — and they’ve slotted in perfectly. There’s nothing better than seeing new friendships forming just in time for brighter mornings and lighter evenings. 🐾

With everything feeling a bit heavy after the news this week, it’s a good reminder to soak up the simple things — fresh air, wagging tails, muddy paws and those happy “zoomie” moments.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend. Get outside if you can, cuddle your fur babies, and hold onto the little pockets of joy 🤍
