🏆✨ Awards Night ✨🏆
Although I didn’t bring an award home, I already feel like a winner. To have reached the final five in each category was such an incredible achievement, and I’m genuinely honoured and overwhelmed to have been recognised alongside so many amazing people. 💚
But the truth is, I don’t need a trophy to remind me why I do what I do—my reward is waiting for me at the yard every day. 🐴
It’s watching a child or adult arrive feeling anxious and then leave with a smile on their face. It’s seeing someone begin to believe in themselves, find their voice and grow in confidence.
It’s taking our wonderful horses and ponies into care homes and seeing residents’ faces light up. It’s witnessing the comfort, connection and precious memories they bring during every visit.
It’s watching children who couldn’t ride at the beginning of our six-week programme finish it trotting and cantering independently, bursting with pride and shouting, “Look at me!” 🥹👏
It’s the laughter, the happy tears, the friendships, the small steps that become huge achievements—and all the fun and chaos along the way! 😂🐴
That is my award. That is my reward. And that is worth more to me than any trophy ever could be. 💚
Thank you to everyone who nominated and supported me, to my amazing team, and to every child, adult, family, care home and organisation that trusts us. Most of all, thank you to our incredible horses and ponies—the real stars of everything we do. 🐴✨
I’m so proud of how far Shelly Equine Assisted Therapy CIC has come, and this is only the beginning. 💚
