βΌοΈ Serious post incoming ππΌ βΌοΈ
We NEED to be notified when you canβt attend classes. It is as simple as that.
It is in your introduction document which you sign at your first class that you must give 24 hours notice if you canβt attend.
Myself and Sharon arrive at the hall an hour before our first class to clean, set up and prepare the hall. I plan ahead for each class going off who is scheduled into each class. At times, we have had less than 50% attend. Baring in mind I have to pay for the hall by the hour so when attendees fail to show with no notification, this affects our small business income. It also affects owners and their dogs being able to get into certain classes.
Our 1-2-1 sessions are also very important as they are individual, specifically booked time slots outside of our group classes. To not attend with no notification is an offensively huge waste of our time. We are sat waiting for individuals to show, who donβt.
We do understand that you may need to cancel but PLEASE just let us know. From now, we will expect payment if you fail to arrive. And we may consider taking deposits in the future as a way to prevent this.
It is difficult enough for small businesses without un-notified lack of attendance. We go above and beyond to help each and every handler and their dogs. We rarely finish classes on time because we want the absolute best for everyone. We donβt give up on any dogs and itβs because weβre passionate about what we do.
All we ask is that you please, make the effort to attend the classes that you asked for and let us know if you canβt so we can organise appropriately for the remaining attendees and their dogs.
Thank you,
