2026 at Happy Paws 🐾🤎

Let’s just say it started as a dream… but the dream was yet to become a reality.

There was work to be done, house move and house sales to go through, and a new licence to secure (and I wasn’t settling for anything less than a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-star licence!).
Balancing life, work and everything in between was a real struggle, but I knew I had to give Happy Paws the commitment it deserved while keeping everything else going too.

I’ll be honest… it was hard.

Some days I felt completely overwhelmed. No breaks, settling dogs into a new place, meeting new clients, figuring out which personalities would work together, creating the right groups, and making sure my regulars were happy.
At times, it did genuinely felt like starting the business from scratch.

But look where we are now… 🥹🤎

2027 is creeping up, and the dream I once had is finally here and I couldn’t be happier ✨

So much work has gone into making Happy Paws what it is today. The cabin, woodchip play park, scratch pad, brand-new fencing and gates, and all the paddock maintenance.
Every little detail has helped turn this place into the country retreat I always imagined for our dogs.

And perhaps the best part? We now have a client and dog community that works just like the dream I had in mind. A group of wonderful dogs, lovely owners and companions who make all the hard work worthwhile. 🐶

My diary is now so much more organised, and 80% of 2027 is already booked! How privileged am I to be this busy already, surrounded by some of the most amazing dogs and people I could ask for?

What a year. A challenging one, a learning curve, and one that pushed me in ways I never expected… but what an incredible year to begin the next chapter. Thank you everyone 🐾 ♥️

Meet Lille! 😊

We had a lovely visitor at Happy Paws this morning! 🥰

Lille absolutely adores dogs and, being home educated, wanted to spend some time gaining hands-on experience around them. She has a real passion for animals and would love to work with dogs in the future and own her own. 🐶🤎

She’s been brilliant with the dogs and has loved getting involved with cuddles, play and learning about their different personalities. 🐾

Who knows… we may have a future dog animal care professional in the making! 🥰🐶
