We took over the Kennels in 2006 and since then have not stopped improving the Kennels. We had originally 25, but recently we have had 6 more made.There are 3 big cottages we call them and they can hold up to 5-6 dogs if we have a big family or a big dog that needs the space. There is a larger Kennel called the Hilton which is not as big but can be used for the same. We have 2 holding Kennels in o

ne of the kitchens and 3 more up in the office. The dogs here at the Kennels have 3 runs a day: 8am when we feed, 1pm when they have a play and 5pm when we go and feed again. If the owners are ok with us socializing the dogs then we can do that, this way they can play with others and have more fun during their stay with us :) Also if owners request it we can share your dog in a kennel with another friendly dog. We are open from 8am until 6:30 we finish down the Kennels and the dogs are put into bed for the night with a bonio, they also get a treat each time we come up from the Kennels throughout the day. Someone is always here at the property and there is CCTV :)

We provide a few different types of food here, including; Chappie dry Beef/Chicken, Chappie meat, Pedigree Chum, and Butchers. We also have fridges and freezers here for customers who want to bring raw food for their dogs :)

We have hard beds, tuffies and soft beds here. We have all types of blankets, fleeces, towels and quilts which we put in all the beds :) There are heat lamps in all Kennels which stay on all night in winter and day if it's freezing and wet out. On site we have Keepers Kutz Grooming Parlour which is run by Alix, Wildest Waggiest Walkers Dog Walking Service which is run by Alix. We have it all here for you :)

20years
I have been running Keepers Kennels for 20yrs today
I moved here never having run my own business or never had I been to a dog kennels in my life
I am so proud of what I have accomplished here
I would not have been able to do all of this without the support of my family
John Mum (Sue) Alix and Billie
I also would not have been able to have a wonderful kennels without my wonderful staff
Jemima Billie Libby Amber Chloe Edie Kira and Fliss
And Lauren who has now left after 10yrs of working with me
I also could not have done it without the wonderful customers and beautiful fur babies that come to Keepers time after time
It hasn’t been plane sailing with a few hiccups along the way but I have throughly enjoyed every minute of it
I love what I do and especially love all the dogs that have come to keepers
I would not have changed my last 20yrs for anything
I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way and all the support I have had

Here’s to another 20yrs but I don’t think I will still be here then but my beautiful daughters Alix and Billie will be and maybe still Jemima #########x

I’m Ellie and I’m opening a brand new pet transport business called Fur Fleet!

This is something I’ve been wanting to do for such a long time and I’m very excited to be making it a reality.

The aim of this business is to care for and safely transport pets and rescue animals. I have 4+ years experience in working with animals and 3+ years working for animal welfare charities.

We are doing our best to keep all your doggies cool in this weather! 🐶🥵

We are restricting playtime hours for the next couple of days. They will be out longer in the morning and evening, and skipping lunch time play.

The kennels are all tiled, so nice and cool for them all 😎 we also have gazebos and paddling pools in the runs 💦

We advise that you avoid bringing your dogs during the middle of the day and collect/ drop off early morning or later on in the afternoon 🚗

Drop off is anytime from 8am-4:30pm and pick up is up until 6pm 😊
