Deer 🦌

Just look how they have grown.

Graham & Not Graham
These two fawns came to us in 2024.

Graham had lost his mother & not Graham had the most horrific leg injuries we weren't sure he would pull through.

Going through our treatments & rehabilitation process, they were released in 2025.

Now in 2026 we have the privilege of seeing them daily as they merged with the existing wild herd.

A Huge Thank you to Lyndsey for kindly donating this dog food to us.

If you have a changeover of food or your dog turns its nose up, like they all do from time to time, we are always very grateful for it to be donated to us, it helps us re-stock and keep a steady flow of food for our foxes.

🦊 Thanks πŸ’š

Get your selections in, we can't wait to see which ones you all choose.

Haggis the Hedgehog πŸ¦”

An unusual name, I know, but given by one of our Scottish volunteers, because when she was curled up she indeed looked like a little haggis.

This little lady has been with us for some time.
She arrived with us completely bald, sores, very bad skin (due to ringworm) & internal parasites, a worse case we have seen in a long time, she was a very poorly hog.

We are so happy to report she is now doing extremely well after being in our care.
She has been receiving various treatments as she had so many issues.

With new spines now coming through, it won't be long until she is fully spined.

This is why we do what we do, she still has a long road ahead but just look at the difference already.

If you are able to donate to our cause, we would be most grateful, it is with your kindness, continued support and donations that allow us to help animals like little haggis and other wildlife in need πŸ’š

Each year, we create a calendar with photos of animals that have come through our doors.

The sales of these calendars raise much needed funds to help us to continue helping our British Wildlife in need.

This year, we have decided to do it a little differently..........

You guys, our amazing followers & supporters get to choose for us.

We have posted 32 photos to choose from, out of these, 13 need to be selected, 1 for our front cover and 1 for each individual month.

Each photo has a number, simply select your favourites and put them in the comments.
The photos with the highest selection will feature in our 2027 Rangers Lodge Wildlife Hospital CIO Calendar.

Closing date for selections will be 1st September.

It's a duckie day πŸ¦†

On the 9th of July we had a small clutch of eggs brought into us. We will always give them a fighting chance.

We placed them in our egg incubator and throughout yesterday they were pipping and this morning they were all hatched.

These little ones will stay with us until fully grown and weathered, then released back to the wild πŸ’š

Mama & babies:

This little family came into us yesterday, two of our volunteers collected them from a dangerous situation that could have been disastrous to the whole of their little family.

Thank you to the kind member of the public for calling it into us, and to our volunteers, Linda & Rachel, who collected them.

They are now enjoying the safety of our duck house. When they are bigger they will be released in a safe new location.
