💪 Fetch Dog Personal Training-Let’s Go!💪

One of my first ever jobs was a personal trainer in a gym. I used to go out running everyday with my clients. Nothing much has changed now to be honest.

The difference is that the furry clients won’t lie if they eat a whole pizza on a training day! Oops!

Here’s some of our Fetch Dog Personal Training guidelines:

💪 Sweat is just fat crying. In this case, it’s just drool, but the effort is the same.

💪 Leg day? Every day is leg day when you have four of them.

💪 Everyday we focus on core stability. That means keeping your balance whilst peeing up a tree on three legs.

💪 Cardio day is just us chasing a squirrel that doesn’t even know we’re working out.

💪 Drop and give me... well, just lay there and let me rub your belly. Good set!

🐾Man’s Best Friends-Earlham Explorers🐾

Welcome to the next outing of our men’s wellbeing scheme ‘Man’s Best Friends’. This time we are gathering at the dog friendly Earlham Park for a walk and talk stroll around the UEA lake, followed by tea and coffee at the Earlham Park Cafe afterwards. Meeting point is at the cafe in Earlham Park.

This FREE social group is designed to get men out, moving, and talking in a safe, non-judgmental environment—accompanied by some amazing dogs. You don’t even have to own a dog to join so come on down. But the more dogs the merrier. There is an out outdoor seating area too.

Our aim is to build a supportive community where stories, thoughts, and emotions can be shared—breaking the stigma that men shouldn’t open up about their feelings and struggles.

From the stress of relationship or family breakdowns, to job worries, money pressures, or addiction—this is a place where you don’t have to carry it all alone. And what better way to start the weekend than over a walk/coffee alongside lovable hounds and a bunch of new friendly mates?

•Rule 1: The Doorway Tax

Every human entering the compound must pay a tribute of exactly three chin scratches and one “who’s a good boy Duke?” before proceeding.

•Rule 2: Omertà (The Code of Silence)

If a pillow is mysteriously destroyed while the humans are out, no dog speaks. We don’t see anything, we don’t know anything. We just sit by the crime scene looking innocent.

•Rule 3: Territorial Sovereignty

The couch doesn’t belong to the house. The house belongs to the couch, and the couch belongs to the Don (Dukie)

•Rule 4: The Squirrel Vendetta

Any backyard incursions by the local rodent family will be met with swift, loud, and immediate retaliation. No exceptions.

🌈 Remembering Spud-Run Free Little Dude 🌈

This week our hearts have been breaking and today we break some more. The adorable Mr Spud has crossed to rainbow bridge to swim, run and chase forever!

Like all of the dogs that leave us,this cuts deep. Another one of our Fetch originals from 2017 and what a dog he was! ‘Spuddy’ was non stop FUN and his zest for life was off the charts. We cared for him from puppyhood for the few years he was here in Norwich before moving to Birmingham with his amazing mama Lou.

We were reunited 3 years ago in Birmingham after a few years apart (see video) and it was instant fun once again!! This is what I imagine Rainbow Bridge looking like. Spud was a true OG of Fetch and even became the face of our podcast channel.

To Lou. Your heart is breaking right now but all current and past Fetch team members are sending you our love and thoughts. What a life ‘the boy’ had with you. Run free my little sidekick and I’ll find you again 💙🐾xx
