🍒 Toy Show & Tell (Post Op!)-With Mr Murphy 🍒

One of our beloved Fetch labradors Murphy had ‘the op’ last week so has been on short gentle walks and house visits whilst he recovers. Sporting his new onesie of course.

We’ve been trying to stimulate his brain and one way was for him to empty ALL of his toys so we could hide some treats for him to search and munch. Does he have enough toys? Could he do with one more maybe!?🐾

One of the best parts of working with dogs is the way it gets you out and about meeting new dogs and people wherever you go. I’ve always loved talking to strangers and hearing their stories.

Whilst planning our next urban wellness walk with the amazing Sarah and Anwesha, I got to meet the beautiful Bilbo at St Saviours Yard. Such a gentle soul with an instant calming influence on all he meets. A perfect morning!🐾

🌟Fetch’s Wellness Walkies-Urban Explorers Part 2 (In partnership with Norfolk County Council) 🌟

Wednesday 25th November
St Saviours Box Park, Anglia Square
10am-11:30am

Leading on from the success of our first urban wellness walk at St Saviours Box Park/Anglia Square, we are back for a second outing in our fine city!

As part of the new integrated Norfolk County Council Neighbourhood Teams, we’ll be working closely with the wonderful Sarah & Anwesha (Community Development Workers) who have a unit (number 58) at the new St Saviours Box Park in Anglia Square. This exciting community scheme has developed following the demolition of Anglia Square.

While the new space has brought some exciting businesses into the area, many residents feel they’ve lost the social hub that Anglia Square once provided. We are super excited to bring our wellness walks into the city to help rebuild that sense of community connection in this historic area.

We will follow a route of around 2 miles, walking down by the river, past the cow tower, through the cathedral grounds and back to the box park for refreshments and a natter.

Having a dog forces you to get outside, which starts a long chain of positive effects for your overall wellbeing. Physical activity releases endorphins in the brain that energises you and creates positive feelings.

Joining this FREE walking group will lead to conversations with other dog owners and help you stay socially connected to others. Our wellness walks have been widely praised and were highly commended at the Broadland Business Awards 2024.

You don’t even have to own a dog to join. The walk is completely FREE (and always will be!). Dogs must be of a friendly nature to join us and be kept on lead at all times throughout this walk.

Meeting point is at St Saviours Box Park, Unit 58 at 10am.

In this together..always
Damion 💙🐾

It’s a very special day in Labrador land as Mr Loki turns one today! This four legged bundle of excitement is like a bottle of ch*****ne that’s been shook up. Fizzing with excitement but full of love and life. Have a great day little man and I’ll bring some extra tasty treats for you on our adventure later 💙🐾xx

Right everyone,say CHEEEEESE!!

Two German Shepherds, a black Lab, a golden Lab and a cream Lab… and Hannah somehow got everyone looking at the camera! A miracle!

10/10 for cuteness, 2/10 for ‘trying’ to sit still 🐾🫶

🌟Our Furry Fetch Mentors-Shadow! 🌟

One of the ways that we build our young pups confidence is by taking them on walks with our grown up fur friends. This allows them to socialise and learn new skills, whilst going into random zoomie excitement of course!

This week we took little Ivy pup out with the handsome Shadow. He was absolutely brilliant with her and wouldn’t leave her side. A true protector and she loved every minute! What a pair..just PAWFECT!💕💙

🎄 Shhhhhhh..Don’t Say It (Just Yet!) 🎄

Mr Sabin loves nothing more than to grab Santa and throw him around the garden and it got me thinking. We are starting to be asked “when are you open over xmas?” So here goes….

Throughout the year the Fetch team are non stop walking, enriching, getting covered in drool etc so like everyone else,we need a really good rest to recharge ready for 2027!

This year we will be closing at 6pm on Wednesday 23rd December and re-open at 8am on Monday 4th January. We’ll send a reminder closer to the time! B&M for some cheap chocolate coins anyone!?🐾

🐾 The New Dog On The Block! 🐾

WE HAVE A PROBLEM AT FETCH DOG WALKING AND TRAINING!!

Since introducing the new Fetch van a couple of years ago, we’ve had several ‘barking’ complaints from the local dogs.

Apparently, there’s a new Jack Russell in town who’s staring at everyone, refusing to say hello, and generally being a bit of a menace!

He’s been reported for excessive staring, suspicious behaviour, and provoking other dogs by giving the longest ‘gimme paw’ pose ever!

We’ve tried speaking to him, but he just sits there looking smug and refuses to leave the side of the van. Biggest Jack Russell I’ve ever seen. Imagine losing an argument to a sticker!! 🤷‍♂️
