So, I was going to keep this private but thought before the rumour mill takes over I should probably address it here. I’ve had a few phone calls this morning asking if I’ve stopped transporting - I haven’t.
I have, however, broken my ankle and my leg. I Had a fall off my own horse 10 days ago, landed badly, shattered by ankle and snapped my fib in my lower leg. Had surgery last week and am now home with a cast and lots of metal in my leg. Inevitably I’m now off work for the foreseeable I’m not sure how long that will be yet.
I have a couple of other people driving for me at the moment. Professional, Experienced, Horse people as those that know me know the reputation of my business and the care for your horses and ponies are my top priority.
Moving forward business will continue as normal as it can do, but everything is taking a lot more organising and I don’t have a driver every day of the week so it is a bit of “fit in when we can” at the minute but hoping I can keep all my regulars on the move and emergency’s covered.
Not much more I can say than that but I’ll keep this page up to date as much as I can. Hopefully I’ll see you all soon enough and business will carry on where it left off 🤦♀️ not quite the year I had planned! 🫠
Enjoy the before the ambulance 🚑 trip and the after surgery photos - anything between that you probably don’t want to see 😂 I can confirm getting spurs off a shattered ankle isn’t nice but I did manage to save my riding boots 🥳
Lastly - just a reminder not to believe everything you hear, I’m sure there’s a few people that would like to hear i had stopped transport but that’s not the plan, and if that was the case you’d hear it here first!
Love you all, Becki x
