Wolds Wildlife Park is overjoyed to share that we have again been awarded the Visit England Quality Rose Marque for 2026-2027

We strive to provide an enjoyable, safe, educational & clean environment for our visitors whilst also giving our animals the highest possible standard of care.

We are thrilled that VisitEngland recognises our work, but also provides us with feedback on how we can make things even better!

There have been lots of developments this year & there is still even more to come 🤩

Ok so it's definitely too early to mention the 'C' word 🤫🤐

However......its only 106 days away 🎅. And that means you can definitely start thinking about it now 😉

Instead of buying someone an appliance or something that they might only use once......why not consider buying something that they will remember forever!!!

Our animal experiences are an incredible way to gift a memory that will last a lifetime 🤗 once you have purchased your experience you have a YEAR to use it - so no need to book it in whilst it's cold or wet. And our experiences can be purchased for 1 or 2 people 😍

We have lots of different animal experiences available so there are plenty to choose from. The minimum age limit for some of the experiences is just 8yrs old*

So start planning today & give someone the best 🎄 present they are going to get.

🕰 Opening Times 🕰

We've had quite a few enquiries regarding our opening times over the next few months so we just thought we would do a post to let you all know what they are going to be 😊

We are open 7 days a week throughout September 2026 - 10am - 5pm (Last entry 4pm)

We are open 7 days a week throughout October 2026 (including the October Half term holiday) - 10am - 4pm (Last entry 3pm).

From 2nd November 2026 our opening days will reduce to only open Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays - 10am - 4pm (Last entry 3pm). This will continue right the way through until 25th March 2027.

We will however be open 7 days a week throughout both the Christmas holiday & the February 2027 holiday - 10am - 4pm (Last entry 3pm).

We will go back to being open 7 days a week from Friday 26th March 2027.

Please note that experiences will continue to be available everyday of the week all year round (even when the park is not open to the public).

We will regularly remind people of what our opening times are going to be & when they will change.

And that's the end of another successful Summer at Wolds Wildlife Park. Thank you to everyone who visited us. We love welcoming new people onto the park 👋

We also love seeing return visitors. Especially when they notice the new additions! Thank you so much for your continued support, we can't wait to see you again next year!

Everyone at Wolds Wildlife Park would like to wish all the children returning to school the best of luck. Especially those starting school for the first time or those moving up to a different school. We hope you all have a great first day & make lots of new friends.

As an outdoor attraction we have been SO lucky with the weather this summer ☀️ special thanks goes to those who still visited on the super hot 🥵 & rather wet days ☔️

A special thanks must also go to our staff team. They have continued to work through the warm & the wet to ensure your experience is the same no matter what the weather. We couldn't do this without them 💪

We would like to thank every single person who has visited us at Wolds Wildlife Park this Bank Holiday weekend. Although the forecast wasn't great, it actually turned out pretty good & it was lovely to see so many people enjoying a day out with family or friends.

We would like to thank our dedicated staff team who have worked tirelessly to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. We couldn't do this without them & we are so grateful for all their hard work.

It's back to school very soon in our area.....but if you haven't had a chance to visit us yet there's still time!!

We think our whole team will be taking a leaf out of Talita's book (our female two-toed sloth) this evening and sleeping (even in the most uncomfortable of places) 🤣

Thank you to everyone that has visited us so far this weekend. We have been SO lucky with the weather given what the forecast has been!! We are open an normal tomorrow (Monday 31st August 2026) - 10am - 5pm (Last entry 4pm). Dont forget its cheaper to buy your tickets online at www.woldswildlife.co.uk but you can buy your tickets on the gate.

If you are booked in to visit us today & you would like to swap you visit day to tomorrow (or another day) please forward your booking confirmation email to us & confirm which date you would like to visit instead.
