Happy New Year everyone - we hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year and that you are all keeping well and safe.

We are still looking for kennels but we have a couple of dogs looking for homes from their own homes. Meantime, one of our supporters has kindly nominated Vigil for the SEIB Giving nominations - if you would like to nominate us as well, please click on the link below and put Vigil GSD Rescue's name in and charity number 289083.

We hope you and your dogs are keeping well. Thank you all for everything and all your support.

CINDY 11 YEARS YOUNG

Cindy originally came into rescue 4 years ago as her owner was no longer able to look after her and she needed surgery on her knees. The surgery was successful and she was adopted shortly after. Sadly her new owner has now passed away and no one in the family is able to take her in. She is a lovely friendly girl who just wants to have fun. Despite her age she is fit and healthy and enjoys her daily walks. She's a bit bossy with other dogs and we think she would be better as an only dog and no cats. She has been around children and really just wants to make a fuss of everyone she meets. It would be sad if she were overlooked because of her age as she has so much love to give. Donation and homecheck applies. Please contact our rehoming team on 07889 289947

MIA and PUTCH REHOMED

Mia and putch are settling nicely into their new home. Thanks to all of you that expressed an interest, they now have their paws firmly under the table in their new forever home. If anyone has rehomed a dog from us we would love to hear from you with some updates of how they are doing. Please send pictures and a brief message to our Facebook messenger and we will publish them on our page.

MIA and PUTCH

Urgent foster or forever home required for Mia and Putch. Mia is 8 and Putch is 11, and they are in need of a home as their owner has sadly passed away. We rehomed Putch back in 2012 and Mia has since joined him.
They are lovely friendly dogs and very relaxed. They are both food motivated and very well behaved. Mia is the darker of the two. They are currently in kennels but we would like to find them a home as soon as possible.
If you think you could give Mia and Putch a Foster or forever home please contact the rehoming team.
