Wet Paws Hydrotherapy Purpose built heated canine pool for hydrotherapy. We can also offer physiotherapy sessions with full Fit animals also benefit having a low impact exercise.

Wet Paws is based in a beautiful setting overlooking Worcestershire countryside yet only two minutes from Junction 2 (M42) at Hopwood. The centre is run by Maggie Scott, a qualified hydrotherapist. Hydrotherapy is a natural treatment in which the combination of warm water and weightlessness are used to allow relaxation and freedom of movement. When a dog enters the water and starts to swim, it stimulates muscles that may not have been used in years. It aids injured dogs to slowly build up strength without injury caused by putting weight on weak joints or muscles. Muscles begin to waste within a few days of immobilisation so it’s very important to rebuild through safe, non load-bearing exercise to help prevent further weakness. It is also very beneficial in the management of obesity
Sessions cost just £35

OFFICIAL RETIREMENT DAY

From today Tuesday 1st September 2026 the Wet Paws premises at North Barn is officially being taken on by 4 Point Physio who I have worked alongside since 2017.

After 15 years it is time to fully retire but quite sad in some ways as I have met some lovely people and their dogs along the way making many friends. It was a job I loved and found exceptionally rewarding even with being constantly wet !!

Thanks to everyone who has helped and supported me at Wet Paws I will miss you all .

Take care and keep in touch

Growing up and another lovely photo from Rae 😍🥰

As today is Rescue Dog Day it seems only fitting that the next dog who appeared in front of my bluebell camera is the totally scrumptious Amber.

Amber totally fell on all four paws when she was spotted at Dogs Trust. She's now living her best ever life and is turning into a fantastically clever little dog, as she proved by posing on command beautifully! 💛

Retirement Plans.....

After almost 15 years the time has come to hang up my waders.
From 1st April I will be taking on a centre management and admin role until September when the premises will hopefully be taken over by 4 Point Physio who I have worked alongside for 8 years.

I have met some lovely clients and their dogs during this time, many for years of visiting the centre for regular sessions.

Thank you all for the support of Wet Paws .
