Yes it's that time again, I'm on holiday in Germany for a week from 14th to 21st September. ⛱️🌞

Gus (tuxedo) and Norman (tabby) had their maintenance grooms recently. 🐾🐱

Gus isn't a fan of being groomed so we tried a lion cut to see if this will be a way we can maintain his fur. He did much better with the clippers than he does with the comb so I think this was a success. 💜💜

Norman had to have some matting clipped in his fluffy trousers, I then gave him a good comb through to remove any dead fur and small knots.

Both boys had their claws trimmed and their ears cleaned too 😺🐾

I visited Ziggy and his brother Mavro. Ziggy is in the photo, I didn't get a chance to take one of Mavro.

The last time I visited, Ziggy did a disappearing act so Mavro got a groom all to himself! This time Ziggy's humans managed to keep him in for his groom.

Ziggy did very well for his groom, his fur is in a good condition but he likes to roam outside and gets all sorts in his fur.
After his groom Ziggy decided that he'd roll in the dirt while I was putting my stuff in the car. He didn't care that he was getting dusty again 🤣🤣

Mavro is a short haired, black cat, he loves a fuss so also doesn't mind being groomed either. 🐾🐱

Cookie always looks so angelic for her photos 😇😇, she's not so angelic for her grooms 🤣🤣

To be honest Cookie is much better for her grooms than she used to be, she tolerates it with the occasional grumble and odd swipe. 🤣🤣

I clipped a mat from her mane, gave the rest of her fur a good comb through, trimmed her claws and cleaned Cookie's ears. Cookie posed for her photo and then vanished when the door was opened! 🐱🐾

Mia is a regular client, she gets groomed every 10 weeks. She's pretty good during the groom, occasionally she has a grumble, it's usually when I comb her fluffy trousers 😱😱

There weren't too many knots for this groom, a good comb through, claw trim and ear clean was tolerated by Mia. She always hangs around for food after the groom, on this occasion I didn't give her any so she went outside to sun herself instead 🤣🌞

Arthur was back on my table for a maintenance groom. The last time I groomed him he was pretty matted. This time he was mat free so it was an easier groom for him and me! This suits Arthur because he's just not a fan of sitting still for very long!

Eira (pure white), Crystal (white with black smudges) and Elise had their maintenance grooms recently. Ellie was also there but didn't want her photo taken 🤣🤣

Eira and Crystal are very gentle souls, they are pretty placid and quite enjoy the fuss. They have quite easy coats to manage.

Elise and Ellie are little whirlwinds on the grooming table, they both like to keep me on my toes! Both have higher maintenance fur so they are more tricky to groom. I managed them with a few breaks and some treats. I somehow managed to keep all.of my fingers although Ellie does like a nibble when she gets a chance 🤣🤣

I'm really behind on posts as you can see!

Foxy, is a M c**n girl who got pretty matted previously. I just trimmed her claws for this session because her fur was still very short. She much preferred the claw trim to the groom and was happily sitting on the kitchen side while I groomed her fluffier sister. Foxy is tricky to get hold of but once she's on the grooming table she's pretty good 😻

The fabulous Mr Bigglesworth was on my grooming table last week. 😻😻

As usual his fur was pretty thick so I gradually went through his fur with the different sized combs to remove the dead fur. I trimmed Mr B's face and mane as his mane can get matted if it's left long. I also trimmed his rear legs and used thinning scissors on his sides to tidy him up a bit.

Mr Bigglesworth was his usual very cute self during the groom. 😻😻

Asha had her maintenance groom with me last week, she's got a thick coat all year round but it's slightly lighter this time of year. 🐾😺

Asha is a good girl during her grooms, the only time she protests is when I try to comb her feet fur and clip around her rear legs. I gave her fur a good comb through, trimmed her claws, cleaned her ears/eyes and trimmed her underside because this tends to get matted if it's left longer. 💜💜

I'll see this lovely girl in another 8 weeks 😻😻
