🌟It's national reptile awareness day🌟

If ever there was a day that summed up why we do what do, it's today. National reptile awareness day promotes reptile welfare, understanding and encourages people to think about conservation 🌎

And reptiles are more common in the UK than you might think, according to recent data, approximately 1 in 20 households in Britain have at least one pet reptile 🤯

If that's you, post your scaley friends in the comments below 😊

Today also includes the wild reptiles we have living here. Did you know we have 6 native species in the UK??

How many can you name? 👀

Volume up for this one 🔊😂

One of Caspers absolute favourite treats is fresh corn on the cob! As you can tell by the noise, he absolutely loves it 😊

Enrichment for our animals is a huge priority for us and that involves things like:

🌟 Mixing up diets and avoiding giving the same foods constantly.

🌟 Toys and puzzles that give mental stimulation.

🌟 Substrates and new additions to their enclosures that allow natural behaviours.

It all a part of keeping our animals happy and healthy!

(Apologies for the mess, Casper decided he didn't want the mixed leaf garnish so that soon got thrown out of the way 😂)

We have some absolutely fantastic events coming up in the next few weeks and we could not be more excited!

Firstly, we celebrate Halloween by heading to Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre for their HalloweenFest! Last time we were here we had an amazing time so a HUGE thank you to The Hive Wrecsam for having us back 😁

Then we head to Venue Cymru for Moonlight Magic Events Winter Fayre. We were gutted that we couldn't do the autumn one so we can't wait to come back. We'll be doing a talk/display in the atrium again as well 😊

Last, but by no means least we have North Wales Macabre Market. An event that we have really enjoyed watching grow and we're so happy to be a part of it again this year!

Three incredible events and three chances to catch us before the end of 2026, so you've got no excuse 😂

How cool is this?!

On Sunday we had a fantastic time celebrating Rapha's birthday with all his friends 😁

While we were there, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to recreate this photo with his Mum and older sister. Two years apart, almost to the day!

This is a huge part of why we do what we do, the lasting relationships, connections and friendships that we build 😊

A huge thank you to Kirsty for letting us post this, we'll see you all again in another two years 😂

This Saturday we will be attending an Auction of promises in memory of Llion Davies to help raise money for CRY.

If you're looking for a night out, with loads to do, with the added bonus of supporting an incredible cause, look no further 😁

A huge thank you to Chloe for reaching out and asking us to be a part of the night 💚
