A little pricing update 🐾

Unfortunately, due to the continued rise in costs, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to increase my grooming prices.

I’ve absorbed the rising costs for as long as I possibly can, but with electricity, bills, shampoos, products, clipper blades and the general upkeep of professional grooming equipment all becoming more expensive, it’s reached the point where I need to make a small adjustment to keep K9 Buddies sustainable.

As of 1st October grooming prices will increase by £3–£5 per dog.

I’ve tried to keep the increase as small as possible, and nothing else will change — your dogs will still receive the same one-to-one care, attention, cuddles and quality of grooming that I always aim to provide. 🐶❤️

I genuinely appreciate every single one of you who chooses to bring your dogs to me. Your continued support of my little business means more than you know.

Thank you for understanding

K9 Buddies. 🐾💙

HOW FAR ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL FOR YOUR GROOMER?

Soooo……. as many of you know, we will hopefully be on the move, as will all things, moving house isn’t a quick process, so don’t panic, nothing is changing yet and all appointments are still going ahead as planned for the foreseeable.

We are currently looking at a few houses in the Gwalchmai and Gaerwen area.

With this move, we are looking for something that I will be able to run a doggy daycare, kennels and potentially a small cattery and small animal area so all animals can be cared for under one roof. So there would always be the optional for daycare grooms, where you can drop your dog off in the morning and collect them after work after they’ve had a day of fun and pampering.

*All the above is subject to planning and licensing

Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone, Facebook decided to block my account as apparently my photo wasn’t mine to use 🤦‍♀️ another groomer tried to claim it as theirs 🤦‍♀️

However, I’ll take that as a compliment, someone stealing my work as there and shall now get back to everyone 🐶

If you haven’t heard back from me please do get in touch again just to make sure all messages have come through

☀️ Hot weather warning ☀️

🐕 DONT NOT WALK DOGS BEFORE THEIR GROOMS

🚙 DRIVE TO APPOINTMENT TO SAVE LITTLE PAWS FROM BEING BURNT

With this weeks lovely weather reaching high 20’s - low 30’s I may have to move grooms around for the safety of your pooches and myself as I don’t have air con.

Please DO NOT walk dogs before they come for their groom as an excessively panting dogs isn’t safe to groom due to the movement and it’s unfair, even with fresh water always available.

Some grooms may still be able to take place if the dogs could be bathed the day before/morning of (as long as they arrive dry) at home as it’s the drier that increases the temperature so much in the groom room.

Thank you for your support

Please get in touch if you have any questions

Did you know that seeing someone with a long line attached to their dog doesn’t mean the dog is naughty or aggressive, my two have perfect recall until they see other dogs, this never hides to be the case, so mine are back on the long line until they reperfect their recall even around distraction 🐶 when dogs hit those teenage years they start to push boundaries and almost rediscover their selves, so popping a longline on them still gives them their freedom, just safety whilst they rediscover them selves and you rework on any teenaged behaviours that may emerge
