Dogs are inspirational!
Cinnamon “ Cinna”
8 years old spaniel deeply loved by his owners has been on quite a journey
Originally here for an elbow issue, which was diagnosed as elbow dysplasia
He then had an issue with Cruciate in his right & left knee we are almost at completion of treatment repairing both without need for surgical intervention
And just over a year ago, poor Cinna lost his eye to cancer, devastating but he survives and with the unwavering love of his family
And the bravery that is in all Dogs , Cinna continues to be a happy spaniel, he is absolutely wonderful and “ talks “ the moment he comes in the door!
Cinnamon you are amazing and it has been my privilege to look after you through all your struggles.
We are very close to completion of cinnamons treatment for the repair of his partially torn Cruciate
And cinnamon will soon be getting his life back out on walks and back on the beach!
Cinnamons owners commitment to Hydrotherapy has made cinnamons recovery possible

How to concentrate with this level quteness about !
On a serious note Millicent the marvellous Norfolk terrier is here to potentially prevent cruciate surgery!
We are a few weeks in to an intensive course of Hydrotherapy and Millicent is improving steadily
Millicent is not a confident swimmer but with surgery as a potential outcome her loving owners and vets seeking Hydrotherapy as a preventative measure..
but with patience and time , we are hopeful for a positive outcome we will keep you posted ..

Rocky’s testimony after receiving treatment thank you to Rocky and his loving owner

“Before Hydro, Rocky was in constant pain when getting up and could not get comfortable when sitting down. He had slipped on a hard floor damaging his hip. Possible hip displasia. X-rays and tests inconclusive. He started hydro and it was obvious that his rear right hip was struggling. He had muscle wastage which needed building up before work can start on the hip.
After a couple of weeks he started to enjoy hydro and work to get a ball. As the weeks have gone by, I now have a happy dog with muscle build up which is pronounced around both rear legs. He now runs with other dogs and though roughly enjoys his hydro session.
Rocky has grown in confidence which I am sure is due to him not being in constant pain and preempting when his hip would hurt.
Thanks to Karen, I have my happy pup back!”

Stunning Ice ! 7 years old Northern Inuit !
Ices loving owners and vet seeking Hydrotherapy to help Ice
Ice has been struggling of late , finding things he used to do so easily now ..difficult, due to arthritis ..

going upstairs to bed
Jumping into the back of his truck
Exercise challenging for him, ,his gait ( pattern of the way you walk ) has changed and this will cause stress to other joints in time if not corrected
We have some work to do to strengthening Ice stabilising his joints
By building strong dense muscle ..
but we will and will post what will inevitably be his success in a few weeks time !
Brave start lovely Ice especially as this was your first swim in deep water !

Ruby very cute Border terrier !
App 11 years old rescued as a young stray dog homeless and unloved ..
But as soon as rescued living her best life ! So Loved by her owners and wanting the very best for Ruby had noted that she was becoming stiff upon rising and as she is a very active dog her owners contacted Haven hydrotherapy and Ruby‘s journey has been transformative , Ruby has been swimming the past year now intensive short course and now maintenance swimming to maintain the muscle and strength that she has built up!
Her owners are delighted that Ruby is enjoying her walks and finding mobility much easier once again!
Back exploring beaches and forests !
