Recall can be one of the biggest challenges some dog owners face.
It can leave people feeling frustrated, anxious and, in some cases, even considering rehoming their dog.
But you are not alone, and you are not a failure.
Your dog might not fully understand what is expected of them yet, or perhaps you haven’t quite figured out what makes your dog tick. Either way, there is always an opportunity to learn, improve and build a stronger relationship.
I always look to work with both the owner and the dog to build a strong, trusting bond and develop a recall that works for them both.
Remember, no dog has 100% recall. As long as they have a brain, they can make their own decisions! What we can do is build a strong, reliable recall that gives you the confidence to enjoy those off-lead moments with your dog.
