We had 2 separate ladies approached us as they wanted to be assessed for their Bronze Good Citizen award
Both ladies train elsewhere so came along for a 1-1 to ascertain suitability and run through the exercises and completed their assessments this week and I’m pleased to say both passed successfully
Congratulations to
Jackie & Luna 🤩
Louise & Sky 🤩

This is the time of year we need to be vigilant about fleas
Fleas are small insects that live on human & animal blood and cause discomfort by excessive itching and bites
They can cause problems in the cleanest of homes & pets and can easily transfer from one animal to the next which can cause a problem when dogs are in close proximity as they can jump up to 100’times their length!!

Tips to keep fleas at bay

🐾Clean bedding regularly
🐾Hoover regularly and make sure you do around the edges and crevices and soft furniture
🐾Throw away the dust bag from your hoover
🐾Groom your pets frequently & go over them with a flea comb
🐾Keep up to date with regular flea treatment preferably from your vet as many over the counter products are not effective
🐾When using flea treatment also ensure that worming treatment is also done as the flea can become infected with tapeworm eggs again preferably again from your vet’s

We buy our flea/worming products from Pet drugs online

There’s only a few weeks until November 5th and while some of us look forward to the celebrations some pet owners dread this time of year
This is a good time to start getting ready for the festivities

🐾Introduce a pet remedy plug in near their sleeping area
🐾Create a “den” which is covered over and feels safe
🐾Start playing the Dogs Trust Sound therapy and firework training sounds quietly when they are eating, playing and having fun
🐾Having their favourite treats, likimats & kongs loaded & ready
🐾Nearer the time Pet remedy spray to spray onto their bedding or even a bandana that they can wear

I was talking to a lady who came training with us 9 years ago and followed us on facebook at the time and as far as she can remember has never “unfollowed” the page but dosnt see any of our posts
So this had me thinking how many of you still see our page updates?
And how can we ensure that no one misses anything that they’d prefer to see?
So if you could do this little experiment for me I’d be most grateful 🙏
Comment below whether you are currently attending the classroom
