Grooming isn’t all hugging puppies, it can be emotional,stressful and challenging. For me it’s not about winning any competitions, it’s about the dogs judging me. Yes it’s a great feeling to produce a fabulous groom, to have happy dog guardians, but the biggest achievement, for me, is when a terrified dog offers you trust. Trust is t build in a single groom, it’s build over time, with patience, understanding and sensitivity.
This little dog, im so proud of, she has gone from not being able to tolerate any handling of her feet, through pure fear, today, we did some poodle feet and got every toe nail nicely ground.
