To help keep my salon running costs as low as possible, I’m making a small change to how payments are handled.

Going forward, **an invoice will be sent to you once your dog or cat’s groom is complete, and payment will need to be made before collection.** 💳

This helps me keep things running smoothly and allows me to keep my focus where it belongs — on providing the best possible care and grooming for your pets. 🐶🐱❤️

Hey all.
Im trying to sort out my diary (its a mess!) and who is waiting for an appointment. Ive got myself in a pickle with who wants what,when etc. I unfortunately can't do as much as I usually do as im having a massive fibro flare up and its been nearly 4 weeks of pain, numbness and chronic exhaustion I will be having my oldest come and assist with bathing/lifting. On the positive side, I've had my MRI, and now just waiting for results. So there maybe some changes over September if I need to be seen for the results/diagnosis/treatment? Also, CHRISTMAS 🎄 🎅 I am absolutely rammed, I only have 2 appointments available 30th November and 4 appointments 2nd December left! So if you haven't booked December/Christmas groom yet, I'd advise do so ASAP!

Im home from my holiday slightly earlier than planned but salon will still be closed till Wednesday. Ive turned my work phone on today and have 35 messages to respond to. But nothing is ever simple, Phone has decided to do an update and its taking its time to reload. I will respond as soon as I can. Ive read most of the messages, alot of you wanting an appointment. I can only check once phone has sorted itself out. Im off out this afternoon making the most of this time off, so if not responded to today, I will tomorrow as having to do lots of admin stuff before I reopen x

☆Phone is on and messages coming through now, but can't read them to reply. Ive switched it off for now and hopefully it will reboot back to normal once I switch it back on. Although I have the booking app on my personal phone its not synced and upto date. I am trying to sort this out asap. Apologies.

Currently 22° while outside is 32°! It does creep up when dryer is on but much more manageable than if I didnt have it on. Will keep monitoring it making sure its safe for your dogs 🐕 😊

Evening

Thankfully migraine has gone and only headaches daily to deal with but its more manageable and have been back to work this past week, not pushing myself in fear of it returning.
Now im back we've this heatwave! I cannot move any more dogs about to avoid the heat but understand if you would prefer to cancel the groom. I will have my air con working but the salon may still become too hot. I will monitor daily/hourly to ensure its safe to work and for your dogs. I may have to change how I groom to ensure safety too, by clipping dogs first then bathing and rough drying and sending home damp? Again this will be different for each dog. Your dogs health and welfare come first, over vanity especially older dogs who will struggle with the heat and the dryers.

Unfortunately im still suffering with this migraine, its been 6 days now.
On Monday my dr sent me to a&e with a suspected brain bleed 😮 I was given pain relief and admitted early hours of Tuesday morning after having a CT Scan. Thankfully no bleed or infection 🙌 I was seen by a lovely dr Tuesday mid day and after looking at my test results and running some visual tests said its just a migraine and to come home, sleep and rest. My lovely husband has taken time out of work to look after me as im struggling being vertical.. Pain relief is taking the edge off but not taking it away and not being able to stand for long periods means that grooming isn't possible. Im taking things day by day at the moment, unfortunately letting people down the night before.
Now with the potential of being off tomorrow, that's 25 dogs I've been unable to groom this week and with 8 dogs still waiting for an appointment to be booked, im asking everyone to please understand I won't be able to book people in asap. My diary is already full till September 😬
Please don't put me under pressure to get your dogs booked in, I will try my very best to accommodate where I can, but if your dog is in need of a groom asap or cant wait till the next appointment please reach out to other local groomers who are all lovely and maybe able to get you in before I can.

Good Morning
The salon is closed today, apologies to those I've had to cancel short notice. Ive been suffering with migraines since Friday and have been laid up on sofa most of the weekend trying my hardest to be ok for today. Unfortunately another has hit me in early hours and im struggling this morning. I will do my very best to rearrange as soon as im on my feet again x

There has been a lot of diary changes recently and people requesting appointments. Please reach out if you are waiting still for an appointment to be booked. My diary is rammed till September and I've still yet to amend those booked in August when im away (5th till 18th) but can possibly squeeze those waiting somewhere in the middle

Another glorious day 🌞but thankfully alot cooler than the last few days 🙏
The salon is open today with air con running. Its still very hot in here though, so will continue to monitor if its safe enough to groom in these conditions as the hours go by and tomorrow when its set to be warmer than today. I can appreciate that your dogs maybe struggling with the heat and need grooming, but I'd hate for your dogs to become unwell from heatstroke from being in here under the dryers. . For those that I've already had to cancel, im still trying to sort my personal appointments out so I can fit you in. Thankfully next week looks to be back to the usual UK cold and grey and possibly wet weather making grooming alot more bearable 😂
