Picture the scene....

Jo to Max's owners, "we need to overground him again, we can't run again until we know what's going on".

Max. "So you want me to start off last by 4 lengths, make up ground and slot in-between Jolene who's leading and Clem who's joining her first and gallop up a stiff hill, over a mile?"

Yep hold my b**r and I'll keep galloping to the end and pass Jolene too... and not be for stopping at the end.

Wtf? 🙄 maybe we need to run him in an overground....🤣

Joking, he did make a noise and the vets will review the footage and we can make a plan. It didn't stop him today tho!

Im struggling a bit this morning. I probably did too much yesterday (nigel and I went to look at a horse) and started out today absolutely knackered.

So i didn't see them cantering. Good feedback from the guys.

Im also not going to Lambourn for the overground as will is being amazing and had offered to drive the vets right up the side of the gallop so they can listen to max and check the signal.

Thats a no from Jo on bumpy ground 🤣

Two absolutely superb lessons with with Christy and hugo and the tall one.

It was a delight to watch Chtisty start to finally become the horse i could envisage when we bought him.

A big lesson to anyone buying a horse, it takes a lot of time and a lot of patience before you get what you want from the partnership.

Christy was finally able to just wait for Ella and allow her to guide him without him taking over.

Hugie was a good boy too, we just did flat work with him today.

The and .ekind have definitely been significant in the change in Christy.

🤣🤣🤣 Bossy after a treat, situation normal.

Bloody ground at Worcester didn't look that good today....would have been fine for us.

Sods law. However better safe than sorry for our Dora, if she'd been a later race we could gave gone and had a look how it was riding.

Sooo much better, obviously still a ways to go but so pleased with the way its all going.

Physio Tuesday, counting the days till I can get back on a horse!

I feel great now. No pain killers except the odd paracetamol, movement is improving slightly every day.
