🐾 A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME… 🐾

For those of you who don’t know me, I thought I’d share a little bit about why I do what I do. ❤️🐶

I’ve always loved dogs. From the day I was born, I’ve had dogs around me and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. 🥰

Growing up, I was surrounded by Springers, Cockers, whippets and Lurchers, and then when I was just 5 years old, I got my very first Bichon Frise, my beautiful Misty. 🤍🐾

Later in life came my gorgeous girls Lucy and Lottie, and now I’m lucky enough to have my two little pooches, Nala, my Bichon Frise, and Walter, my Miniature Dachshund. 🐶❤️

And it hasn’t just been dogs! Growing up, I’ve also had rabbits, birds and hamsters, so animals really have always been a massive part of my life. 🐰🐹 🐦

I’ve always dreamed of working with animals, and becoming a dog groomer was something I’d wanted to do for as long as I can remember. Then, a few years ago, I finally took the leap and made that dream a reality. ✂️🐾

Now I get to spend my days doing something I genuinely love — pampering your precious pooches. ❤️

Every dog that comes through my door is treated with love, patience and care, just as I would want my own Nala and Walter to be treated. 🥰

I feel so lucky that something I dreamed about for so many years is now my everyday life.

Thank you to every single one of you who supports my little business, trusts me with your dogs and allows me to do what I love. ❤️🐾

Here’s to many more years of Pawz 4 Pampering! 🐶✂️💗

And that is what you call a successful deshed I wish I could have got a before and after photo of the German Shepard! But look at all that hair and that’s not even all of what I got off him 🐾🐾

🐾 Why is deshedding so important for double-coated breeds? 🐾

Double-coated breeds such as Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Border Collies, German Shepherds, Huskies and many more naturally shed their undercoat throughout the year, with heavier moulting during seasonal coat changes.

A professional deshed treatment helps to:
✨ Remove loose undercoat before it ends up all over your home.
✨ Reduce excessive shedding.
✨ Prevent matting and trapped dead hair.
✨ Allow air to circulate through the coat, helping to keep your dog more comfortable.
✨ Keep the coat healthy, shiny and in the best condition.

Regular deshedding doesn’t stop your dog from shedding completely, but it can make a huge difference by removing loose hair safely and keeping the coat healthy.

If your double-coated dog is leaving hair everywhere, now is the perfect time to book them in for a professional deshed treatment! 🐶💙
