We have another lovely update from adopted dog Harper who was utterly adored by all the staff here at the Animal Centre!
Harper was adopted just over 2 months ago and is absolutely treated like a Queen in her wonderful new home 🥰🖤🤍

🐾 Cat meat appeal - Brent Knoll Animal Centre 🐾

Whilst you read, listen to Nitro enjoying his cat meat 🤫

As Spring starts, we’re in need of cat meat and we’d be grateful if anyone could help by donating.

This could include:
- whiskas
- sheba
- supermarket cat meat in jelly or gravy
- felix as good as it looks

We are in need all types of age brackets; kitten, adult and senior.
If you’ve got any laying around, purchase some and bring them to the centre or head to our Amazon Wishlist to get it sent to us we would be grateful 🙏

🌱🌺 Plant/Flower Appeal - Brent Knoll Animal Centre🌼🌿

A bit of different request for help today! With spring finally here in full force, we would love to rejuvenate our cattery planters with some plants and ideally flowers that will attract butterflies etc.
This not only looks lovely but adds enrichment for the cats to watch from their cat pens 🦋

If you have any spare plants you could donate or would be up for purchasing some to donate to us, or if you wanted to donate money for us to use specifically for plants.... that would be truly wonderful. The team and the cats would really appreciate it. 🥰

We are open at Brent Knoll Animal Centre, TA9 4BL Tuesday-Friday 11am-1pm / 2-4pm & 11am-1pm on weekends.

You might recognise this beautiful furry face as Mika the Akita! 😍

Mika was in our care for just over 2 years before going into a foster home in August 2025. She featured a lot on our page within that time as we desperately searched for her perfect home. As it turns out, this perfect home was right under our noses the whole time....her fosterers!!! After fostering Mika for just over 6 months, they decided that they couldn't live without her (I mean, who could?! Look at that face! 😍) and officially adopted her in February this year 🎉🎊

They recently shared these photos with us as Mika is now a campervan dog and, as you can see, is loving life exploring the countryside and some beaches too 💕

Mika was adored by everyone at the centre so we were all so pleased to see how well she's now getting on ❤

🧡 Tigger Adoption Appeal 🧡

Just look at this boy! Tigger is ADORABLE and we can not understand why he is still here.
Tigger is in our care as sadly he had opted to live outside at the previous home as he didn't like the dogs. Tigger LOVES fuss and attention and to come out exploring! He especially loves being brushed!
Tigger is such a handsome lad that just wants his own home with no other cats or dogs so he can be the centre of attention and Lord of the manor!!
He can live with primary school age children :-)
A home that has a nice garden to explore or even a home in a rural or semi rural location would be just wonderful for him.

Easter Weekend! 🐣 We are OPEN!
Both our on site shops will be open 11am-1pm Saturday 4th and Easter Sunday 5th April.
We have LOADS of goodies in our reception pet shop and our charity shop has lots of clothes, books and plants.

Please note we are closed Easter Monday and will be back to our usual opening times on Tuesday.

Our Fundraising Hub Shop is ⭐OPEN TODAY⭐ Saturday 4th April, at the RSPCA Brent Knoll Animal Centre, TA9 4BL, between 11am and 1pm with a fresh spring look and lots of bargains to browse! We also still have our Easter Tombola tickets available but only until SUNDAY, 5TH APRIL, so don't miss out on your chance to win an Easter gift.
If you can't visit today, the shop will be open on the following days:
Sunday, 5th April - 11am to 1pm
Tuesday, 7th April - 11am to 1pm
Wednesday, 8th April - 11am to 1pm
Thursday, 9th April - 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm

We had a wonderful donation of toys and treats for our resident cats and dogs this afternoon. Logan has been busy collecting items together to help the animals currently staying with us.
