With 35 and above temperatures this week we are putting everything in place to keep your dogs safe ✅

Secure Sheltered garden with pools 💦
AC inside the house
Frozen lickimats and doggy ice cream
Walks before 8am or treadmill walks in the AC if temperatures reach above 21 by 730am
Plenty of rest breaks away from the sun

Watching a dog’s nervous system learn something new never seizes to amaze me 💛

Cleo a chronically and genetically anxious young puppy. A dog uncomfortable in all areas. Noise, People, Textures and everything was putting her brain in a panicked flee state - sympathetic nervous system.

Over the past few weeks we’ve been working through decompressing her and putting her body slowly back into the parasympathetic nervous system. So far this is where we are:

She’s wanting to explore her environment
Not trying to run away from noise but process it and move on
Willing to find food outside the home
Play in the garden
Receive fuss off strangers and interact with unknown dogs

No obedience or punishment just a professional that truly understands how to work a dog stuck in the wrong emotional state.

Before…all would have been shutdown and run. We have got a long way to go especially as she goes through her first season soon ✨

The dog that started as an anxious, reactive and resource guarding rescue pup.
The dog that has now helped thousands of dogs and owners.
The dog that has raised more puppies than I can count.
The dog that has helped dogs turn from aggressive to trusting.
The dog that has helped dogs turn from fearful to social.
The dog that has taught people not to be scared of large breeds.
The dog that has taught me so much.
The dog that has challenged me in every possible way.
The dog that the dog industry and I are so lucky to have.

To the dog she is today - a stooge, my best friend and the foundation for everything this business stands for.
