Sorry for being so utterly terrible at this social media thing recently. 🙈
Ruby is absolutely fine and has made some lovely progress again recently. She even had her first trip to a very busy public space with the two boys some days back.
She coped very well, managed to handled the bustle and noise with no great concerns and was able to settle pretty quickly.
I only kept her there for about half an hour (quit whilst you're ahead!) but it was a huge achievement for her.

As you can see, I've also conditioned her to a head halter so that her future owners have another option for close control in tight public spaces. It also gave us something new to train!

The weather has become beautiful very suddenly and people and dogs have had very little chance to adjust.

Another busy but productive day for Ruby who has successfully made another new friend, done loads of recall work and had a brilliant blast around her favourite place over at trainer Emma's Walkies private hire paddock.
If you're looking for a place to be able to train (or just enjoy) your dog undisturbed, I hugely recommend this place. You couldn't ask for a more picturesque place to train.

Yesterdays main training session was done at the busy parade of shops that she found a bit much last time we went.
I'm pleased to say that she coped MUCH better this time than last time and was able to work around strange dogs with no drama.

Could she be loving this sunshine any more if she tried? Didn't think so!

Sorry for the radio silence for the last few days. For some reason I've not been able to convince Facebook to post to this page. Everything else is working just fine though 🙄

Ruby has done EXTRA well recently. She even coped with some strange dogs charging up to her yesterday. She had a bit of a bark and lunge when they got in her face but she shook it off and got over it immediately which is incredible progress.
We must have seen 15 or more dogs yesterday and apart from the two who ran right up to her, she didn't utter a peep at any of the others. She was extremely fascinated by the tennis courts.
SO.
MANY.
BALLS.

She has met another strange human too and although she decided he was a bit intimidating, He still took food from him and coped with being in his immediate vicinity.
