So we roped in Steph, a long time friend who understands our utter madness & also has two epic small people to add to the complete carnage 😁.

Steph stated absolutely & categorically at the outset a couple of weeks or so ago, that she would not be winging it around the arena….. she wants to trundle around steady hacking at a relaxing pace. Not bothered about cantering about, definitely not bothered about arenas (I said 😉 ok then).

Here at Murf’s HQ a little (much bigger!) change has been afoot….. We finally had to admit that Sister-blister’s legs were just too long for the Snorty Welsh Dragon & even roller skates 🛼 wouldn’t stretch out her reign as queen of the Pony Annexe any longer 🥹.
She’s gone on loan to a gorgeous new jockey & is living up to her unicorn 🦄 reputation 🥰.
Murf’s new neighbour is a real live rockstar 🤘🏼🎸.

Which left us with a bit of a space to fill…..

​We have our next outdoor Horseback Archery Clinic at Kirton Farm! Whether you’ve never held a bow or you’re a seasoned rider looking for a new challenge, this beginner-friendly session is the perfect way to bond with your horse and learn an ancient skill.

​Time: 11:00 AM (2-hour session)

​Full Training: We’ll guide you through the basics of postal archery before moving to horseback.

​Horses must be comfortable being ridden in open fields.

Tower 90 training at Redesmouth today, on grass.
Murf’s in full summer mode now, he definitely wasn’t in a rush.
Things we learned;
1) the more you rush Murf, the slower he goes.
2) when you stop trying to shoot for a grading, you will immediately hit everything perfectly.
3) coach’s waterproof boots aren’t waterproof at all 🥾💦
