Thank you so much to our lovely rehomers, we saved another 145 little lives and 2 boys!

We picked the hens up at 4am on Saturday from the midlands dropping at Middlesbrough and Ashington on our way home. The girls were pretty scruffy and the farm had hundreds more than expected 😮. Thank you again to all our rehomers especially our last minute rehomers, we saved an extra 40 girls!

It was lovely chatting to everyone on Saturday and I love hearing how your girls are doing 🐓

We had a great team of volunteers at home waiting for us, a big thanks to Dan, Lucas, Bert, Helen, Rosie and Will⭐️

We should be opening again in October - reserve now so you don’t miss out - the waiting lists have been very long recently ❤️

Wolfie is a 16-week old cockerel. He is looking for a permanent forever home with a small flock of his own. He is of Silver Campine ancestry and is of relatively small size. He is used to free-ranging regularly. He has been regularly handled and is friendly.

We are located in the North East (County Durham). I am willing to travel a fair distance to rehome him - if it means he is going to the right permanent home.

It was great (a lot calmer!!) to have a smaller rehome and enjoy watching the hens head to their new homes. Thank you very much to all our lovely rehomers, these girls are very lucky… I think they will be very entertaining!

Also thank you to our volunteer driver, who drove these girls all the way up from near London😮

We will hopefully be rehoming again in August, you can reserve girls now and be notified when we have a confirmed date🐓

Thank you very much to all our lovely rehomers today!

Together we rehomed 317 hens and one cockerel. It was a great day, we collected the girls from a farm in Staffordshire, dropping to Middlesbrough and Ashington collection points on our way home 🐓
