Sanderson Vet is the only independent 24-7 RCVS Accredited Veterinary Hospital on the Wirral. We recently underwent further voluntary assessment for the prestigious RCVS PSS Awards Scheme and got our results;

We received

🥇 Diagnostic Service - Outstanding
🥇 In-patient Service - Outstanding
🥇 Patient Consultation Service - Outstanding
🥇 Team and Professional Responsibility - Outstanding
🥇 Environmental Sustainability - Outstanding

This means in every area we were rated the very highest level - across how we look after our clients/patients, our team and our environment.

A truly incredible achievement well deserved for Sara and Hannah who have overseen this project, and the whole team for their work every day. The assessor made some additional comments we would love to share;

✅ A well established team, many of whom have worked at the practice for several years

✅ A reception team who make visits calm and clinically efficient

✅ Robust cleanliness protocols that support high clinical standards and effective clinical governance

✅ I was very impressed with the collective efforts of the entire team in creating a practice that consistently delivers a high standard of veterinary care to the local community

✅ It is clear that this practice has created something truly special for its clients and its patients

🎉What a week of celebrations it has been! 🎉

This week we’re celebrating 2 milestones:
10 years of Sara and a temporary goodbye to Lucia as she begins her next chapter…

💚💚💚

Sara was the very first employee to join Sanderson Vet, starting out alongside Richard back in 2016. What started as a small 2 person mobile practice has grown over the years to a 24-7 veterinary hospital, and Sara has been such an important part of that journey.

In those 10 years, Sara has qualified as an RVN, guided the practice through the Practice Standards scheme and, most importantly, has always been there to support the team.

Sara is one of those people who is always willing to help and go the extra mile. We honestly couldn’t imagine Sanderson Vet without her! ❤️

Thank you Sara for 10 years of hard work, loyalty, laughter and everything you do for the team.

Today also marks the start of maternity leave for our lovely vet, Lucia, as she gets ready for a very exciting new chapter! 👶

We’re going to miss having her around the practice, but we’re so excited for her and her growing family and can’t wait to hear all about the new arrival when the time comes. 💗

♻️💚We’ve achieved Green Level💚♻️

We’re incredibly proud to share that Sanderson Vet has achieved the top level of accreditation (Green Level) with Investors in the Environment!

This recognises the work we’ve been doing to reduce our environmental impact and make sustainability part of everyday life across our practice.

From reducing waste and improving recycling, to monitoring our energy and resource use, making more sustainable choices and getting our team involved — lots of small changes have helped us reach this milestone. 🌱

A huge thank you to our whole team for getting behind our environmental initiatives and helping us make a difference.

Achieving Green Level is something we’re really proud of, but it doesn’t stop here. We’ll continue looking for ways to improve, set new goals and make our practice even more sustainable.

And thank you for already helping us by partaking in the free bloods schemes (including the first blood test for cancer) and free faecal sample testing (twice!).

It’s great your pet gets access to FREE medical screening for your pets getting information sooner to maintain Wellness! Even more when this helps us avoid medicines in favour of screening!

Sanderson Vet is involved in something very special and ultimately this means even more opportunity to keep your pet healthy in advance of disease without the same level of cost. As well as advancing Science which will help animals across the World
