The more mature ladies moved fields today… ❤️

Moonbeam (chestnut) - 30 years young. My girl who I’ve had since she was 5. We actually kept her on livery at this very farm, and then 15 years later we ended up buying it. ❤️

Magic (black cob) - 30 years young. Lynda has had her since she was just 4/5 years old.

Eva (black warmblood) - 26 years young. Chloe has had her since she was just 2/3 years old.

Three very loved girls, all still looking absolutely amazing. 🤩🐴❤️

Happy 29th Birthday to the queen of Cottams, Moonbeam, my first fury love, my sassy, talented, sideways stepping diva! The reason we bought the yard in the first place as it was her first home when I was just 14, and we always ended back here! ###

Today we judged the Christmas stable decorating competition, and the effort and creativity were amazing! These two stables really stood out as the winners – and what good ponies for not eating the decorations! Well done to everyone who got involved – it all looks so festive! 🎄✨

Looking for part time staff for general yard jobs, couple of hours a day Monday-Friday. 16+ must be experienced in yard work and work to a very high standard. Can work around school hours but jobs must be done by 3pm (winter) summer negotiable - would consider work in return for livery, but only for an extra special person!!

Responsibilities will include;
Mucking out
Poo💩 picking fields
Filling hay nets
Making Feeds
Changing rugs
Keeping the yard tidy
Depending on hours could also include other ad-hoc jobs around the yard

Must be reliable, not afraid of hard work (and rain 🌧) with high standards and a professional attitude.

A paid trial day will be part of the interview process

It’s been one of the toughest winters yet, so wet early on made it so hard. We are nearly at the end of Jan and the horses are still foraging away in the grass happy to be out mooching, for that I feel lucky 🍀, but roll on spring!! ###
