Tyr (pronounced tear💧) aka little miss fox 🦊
Tyr is a 1 year old Belgian Malinois who was struggling with human reactivity.
She recently joined us for a 1 week board & train, and from our first couple meetings she found people tough, even my calm presence was a challenge. Starting the programme, simple things like me walking past her crate felt big so we focused on calm energy, patience, and building real trust before asking anything of her.
In just 7 days she’s come on leaps and bounds. We worked at her pace, after building trust between us we started exposing her to strangers and busy environments, helping her stay neutral, engaged, and focused on her handler instead of hunting for the next snack.
Handover with her dad was a proud moment, during which we discuss the past week and demonstrate real world handling/management to keep the progress going. It was clear the work is being put in, and the follow-up session proved it.
So proud of this little lady and excited that she can now move through the world without getting heated or giving unsuspecting strangers smoke they didn’t ask for 🔥👏
