Libby (white cat around 3 years old )and Dakota around 16 weeks , still looking for their forever home. They adore each other . Libby isn’t her biological mummy but she’s such a wonderful girl that she’s adopted Dakota as her own .

Cola has been reserved by a lovely family, so happy for this cheeky little chappy

Cola is around 14 weeks old . He is a cheeky little boy who loves playing and he’s chatty.

This is his story . He was sold wrongfully at a much younger age than his buyer was told by what we can only presume was a back yard breeder, and was given to his owner as a gift from a loving relative who didn’t realise he was too young to be away from his mum and siblings . For his own safety he came to Misfits rescue to be with kittens around the same age.
Cola has been chipped and snipped and his vaccinations are booked in to be started next week. Cola would love his new home to have another young cat for company.

Mummy and me ! We are still waiting .

If you are considering adopting, this little lady is the perfect cat. Libby is around 3 years old and quite honestly I’ve never known a cat like her . She has taken a litter of 4 kittens (they are not hers) and she lets them suckle for comfort. She really loves the little black one, she truly is her baby so they need to be adopted together. Her little baby girl is called Dakota. They can be indoors cats. Libby was a stray living on the streets but despite her awful start she loves human company . If she is to be allowed outdoors at a later date she must have sunscreen on her ears and nose as white cats are at a high risk of developing skin cancer . Both are neutered and chipped . Libby is fully vaccinated too . Dakota has had her 1st vaccine.

Good evening everyone. So the fun begins again with a bundle of gorgeous kittens !
I’m starting off with these 3 handsome boys . Charlie , Caleb and Cola . Despite an awful start in life they are doing really well. Charlie and Caleb are a little timid which is understandable and they are totally bonded so we will be looking for a home for them together, Cola is more confident and he would be ok going to a home with another young cat but equally they would be happy to go as a trio ! The boys are around 13 weeks old now and they are chipped and snipped . Unfortunately due to lack of funds they are not vaccinated yet .
All of the kitties come from Misfits rescue charity and like all the other little rescues they are struggling to keep afloat . I’m fostering all 8 until they go to their forever homes .
Whilst I’m providing all food and litter etc for all 8 kitties it would be great if anyone could spare a £1 or £2 to help towards their vaccinations. Donations of food or money can be handed into the cafe shop , we are open Thursday Friday and Saturday from 10 till 3.

Quick update , I’m getting through messages regarding volunteering as quickly as I can so please bear with me . Thank you everyone for offers so far . I will respond to everyone as I’m very grateful and I will need a number of people for different shifts

Due to the number of wonderful people who have offered their help we are no longer able to respond to any further messages at the moment so if you haven’t heard from me it doesn’t mean no it just means not at the moment. Thank you all so much

Volunteers urgently needed for cats/kittens in Herne Bay . Minimum of 3 hours twice weekly . Day time /evenings and weekends . To assist with feeding, cleaning out litter trays and of course cuddles and play time with the cats . Socialising kittens is so important to prepare them for their new homes . All of them will be looking for new homes too when the time is right. Home checks and adoption fees will apply. They will all be neutered/chipped and vaccinated.
We would also be grateful for any cat/kitten food donations . They all love whiskas at the moment.
