Yesterday, we held our Poor Performance Clinic, and it was fantastic to see a variety of horses presenting with different cases throughout the day.🐴

The clinic provided a great opportunity to investigate each case in detail, covering:

🔹 History review
🔹 Clinical examination
🔹 Lameness assessment, including straight-line trot-ups and assessment on the lunge
🔹 Objective gait analysis using the SLEIP app
🔹 Gastroscopy under sedation
🔹 Discussion of ongoing treatment and management options

A big thank you to everyone involved for making the day such a success, and to the team at Sprees Farm for kindly hosting us!

We look forward to planning future clinics and would love to hear what our client may be interested in.

Our Poor Performance Clinic is THIS Monday!

We only have a couple of spaces remaining, if you would like to discuss your horses suitability for the clinic then please give the office a call.

Is your horse not performing as well as they used to?

We are running a Poor Performance Clinic in Bartestree on Monday 12th October, including gastroscopy and lameness assessment with SLEIP, for £250.

Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and will include:

• History review
• Clinical examination
• Lameness assessment, including straight line trot up and assessment on the lunge
• Objective gait assessment using the SLEIP app
• Gastroscopy under sedation
• Discussion around ongoing treatment and management options

Attending horses should be up to date with influenza vaccinations and well in themselves.

Payment is required in advance to secure your place. Additional investigation or treatment will be invoiced separately.

Spaces are limited – please contact one of our offices to book your appointment.

⭐Happy Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Day!⭐

Today we celebrate our team of receptionists who are the face of BFE across our three offices.

Our receptionists are at the heart of everything we do, from being that friendly voice on the phone, to ensuring that the vets surgical kits are scrubbed and sterilised ready for the next emergency. They help to ensure that the day runs smoothly, and provide endless teas and coffees for vets, clients and each other!

They do an exceptional job of getting our vets to their visits come rain or shine, handling the strangest of queries, juggling many tasks all at once, and somehow fitting it all around life outside of work - no two days are ever the same!

Here is a little glimpse of what our receptionists days look like on a regular basis, from getting up in the morning and pulling on their wellies to getting home and once again, pulling on their wellies!

To our team - thank you for everything you do, we would be lost without you!💜💚
