We are still looking for volunteers for doggy blood donors, as our current hero’s come close to retirement. We are looking for:
🐾 large breed dogs, weighing over 27kg (greyhounds are excellent donors as they have a naturally high blood cell count!)
🐾 Ages 1-8 years old, fit and well and up to date with vaccinations
🐾 no history of travelling oversees
🐾 owners easily contactable and able to get the donor to the practice in an emergency

As many of our current dog blood donor heroes come close to retirement we are seeking new blood donor to take up the baton. Our doggy blood donors play a critical role in helping us treat some of our most critically ill patients in an emergency. We are looking for large breed dogs weighing 27+
