Growing Local CIC From here we grow our veg and run a children's education garden.

Growing Local CIC deliver a veg box scheme and a programme of schools, community and family grow, cook, eat workshops from Southside Farm in South Wye, Hereford 💚Growing Local is a community interest company that encourages and educates communities to grow, cook & eat local Herefordshire food

💚 We do this through our schools and community group educational workshops and events and by delivering a veg box scheme

💚 We are based at The Southside Farm in South Wye (between Newton Farm and Grafton Lane), a gorgeous 19 acre three field site on the edge of Hereford. In 2026 our new indoor teaching space and cook studio will be open!

We had a fantastic day at our October Community Day a couple of weeks ago, with lots of fun & planting in the garden. Plus a delicious super-soup lunch.

We’re now taking a break on our Community Days until 2027 - when we’ll be back with Saturday volunteer days.

Watch this space for dates!
