The Big Herefordshire Harvest Eat on Saturday 26th September @ the Kindle Centre in Hereford.

🧑‍🍳Come along from 10am to help prepare an all-Herefordshire feast for lunch with our Southside Farm veg & produce from across the county.

🙏The event is free to come along to, kindly sponsored by Our Place South Wye.

🎬 At around 12.30 Rural Media will be premiering a new film starring young dancers from Melody Dance Company CIC filmed at Southside Farm in May.

At our next Community Open Day on Saturday 5th September we are joined by Tim from for a special Wildlife Quest adventure at the farm. Join Tim to discover how many species of animal, fungi & plants you can discover 👀🪱🌱🔎

We’ll also be running our usual farm tour, volunteering tasks and making a simple lunch with produce from the farm. 10 - 1 All Welcome

On Friday we held our annual summer Volunteer thank you night @ the farm🥂🍾🥰🥳 and what a fabulous night to remember it was. Sangria in the nearly complete Cook Studio (those white walls need colour!) followed by paella & salads in the garden. Plus a selection of brownies & cream. A huge thank you to volunteer Maria for so very kindly cooking the incredibly delicious paella 🥘

It was a very special night to say thank you for another fantastic year and all the dedication our family of volunteers have given in their bucketloads ❤️. So much has changed since last summer that we all have to keep looking around and pinching ourselves! The ed garden is complete tipi & all, the packing shed and staff/volunteer room up and well and truly being used …..and our Community Cook Studio nearly complete (bar the thorny issue of services connections 😱😱).

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all our truly awesome volunteers 🥰🙏🤗🤩 What should we do next year to celebrate?!

Tomorrow is our last holiday workshop of the summer! Once again we've had a few last minute cancellations so if you'd like to come along to boost numbers that would be fantastic.

We are extremely disappointed to have lots of last minute cancellations on our Foodie Fun Day at the Farm workshop tomorrow - all within the last few minutes. The session has been booked up for weeks so doesn't give any time for new families to fill the places. We have lots of places left on Thursday's Twigs 'n Sticks Session - our last workshop of the summer hols. Sadly if we don't receive a few more bookings it will have to be cancelled

Places are free for eligible families through the HAF fund or £10 for others. Accompanying adults are free (children under 8 must be accompanied). All our workshops include a healthy lunch made with produce from the farm.
