Juno’s story!
Back in June 2025 Juno had a freak accident in the field which left him with a severe injury to his left front foot.
At first it appeared to just be the initial cut to the coronet band and crack to the hoof. This piece of hoof was removed and remedial shoeing with a bar shoe was carried out to give column support.
5 weeks into the injury the damaged hoof wall detached itself along with the sole exposing significant damage far more extensive than anyone had anticipated.
With round the clock care, extensive bandaging and management, an incredible team of professionals, we continued Juno’s treatment and against all odds his foot has repaired itself and just 8 months later he is sound and has the all clear to return to work.
