🐾 PLEASE DON’T FORGET — NO-SHOWS COST SMALL BUSINESSES MONEY. 🐾

I completely understand that things happen, and sometimes appointments genuinely can’t be kept. But when you simply don’t turn up, or cancel at the very last minute, it has a real financial impact on a self-employed dog groomer.

When you book your dog in, that time is reserved just for you and your dog. I turn away other clients to keep that appointment available.

If you don’t show, I don’t get paid.

It’s not just “an empty hour” — it could mean losing £40, £50, £60+ in income, while I still have to pay for electricity, water, rent, insurance, equipment, grooming products, laundry, cleaning, tax and all the other costs involved in running a business.

💷 Two or three no-shows can mean hundreds of pounds in lost income over a month.

And for a small, self-employed business, that can make a BIG difference.

I’m not asking for perfection. I know emergencies happen, dogs get poorly and life sometimes throws things at us. ❤️

I’m simply asking for communication.

If you can’t make your appointment, please let me know as soon as you possibly can. Even a few hours’ notice may allow me to offer the appointment to someone on my waiting list.

Please remember: I’m not a big company. I’m a small business, and this is my livelihood. ❤️

So please respect your appointment, respect my time, and most importantly, respect the fact that a no-show directly affects my income.

Thank you to all my lovely clients who always turn up, give notice and support my small business. 🐶✂️❤️

Apologies for any inconvenience to today’s appointments, the car park was mayhem and the road outside ridiculously busy due to the sale of solar eclipse glasses being sold at Perfect Aquatics. This was unfortunately not something I was given notice of happening so could not warn you all beforehand. The mayhem is likely to continue tomorrow so if you are booked in tomorrow please leave a little extra time to arrive for your appointment. Thank you for your patience and once again sorry for any inconvenience.
