Someone has very kindly nominated one of our wonderful instructors, Anna, for the BHS Coach of the Year Award!

Firstly, a massive thank you to whoever took the time to nominate Anna. We completely agree that she is incredibly deserving of this recognition.

Anna is a fantastic instructor who puts so much time, care and enthusiasm into supporting her riders. She is always encouraging, patient and positive, and goes above and beyond to help people develop their skills and confidence. We are very lucky to have her as part of our team.

Introducing Sonic, the latest addition to our riding school team.

Sonic is 12 years old, 14.3hh and super cute!

He is a lovely boy who is great for riders of all abilities, and we can't wait for you to meet him if you haven't already!

A massive thank you to Abi at Abbisfields Equestrian for finding him and viewing him for us. Abi has found a number of fantastic horses for our liveries and the riding school, and we would highly recommend her services!

🐴💔 Goodbye, Pedro 💔🐴

Last week, we said goodbye to our beloved Pedro at the grand age of 26.

Pedro was a fond favourite of so many over the years and touched the lives of countless riders, staff, and friends. Pedro spent many years enjoying hacks, lessons and helping countless riders through RDA sessions, where his gentle and caring nature shone through.

After his time in the riding school, Pedro went on to enjoy a quieter and well-deserved retirement with his owner, Fiona, where he still enjoyed the occasional pub hack and plenty of carrots!

Known to all as everyone's favourite gentle giant, Pedro had a special way of making people smile and feel safe. His kind eyes, calm presence, and loving personality will never be forgotten.

Thank you, Pedro, for all the memories, lessons, and happiness you gave to so many people throughout your life.

🚨🏆Update for all competitions: 🏆🚨

Due to the increase in reported cases of equine influenza, the Equine Infectious Diseases Action Group has recommended a period of increased vigilance and monitoring to help prevent further spread of the disease.

We will therefore be checking passports for up-to-date vaccinations at all competitions.

Please present passports to the stewards before unloading your horse. Horses with unvaccinated or lapsed vaccinations will not be permitted to compete.

🥳🎈Happy Birthday Oreo!🎈🥳

1 year ago today we were surprised by the arrival of Oreo, and what a year it has been.

Oreo is the most chilled out little man who can regularly be found flat out in the paddock snoozing. He loves a cuddle and will follow us around until he gets enough fuss!

He has brought so much joy to us at CEC and we have loved the unexpected journey he’s taken us on over the past year.

Here’s to many more years of cuddles, naps, and happy memories. 🖤🤍
