Wow what a busy July weā€™ve had! We may have been quiet on socials but weā€™ve been beavering away behind the scenes! Have a look at some pictures we remembered to take this month!

1 and 2. We had a massage course where we got to paint the bones on Ebony who wasnā€™t that impressed!
3. Darcey went to the pub for Katieā€™s leaving hack
4. Weā€™ve hidden from the relentless heat
5. Very pleased to still be able to feed grass thanks to our new grazing system.
6. Got excited over some rain that then never appeared
7. Rebuilt the hay barn which is so nearly finished
8 and 9 oh and we brought a new pony called Dollar šŸ¤£

Itā€™s been a great month and we are so looking forward to what August brings as long as it brings cooler temperatures and some rain!

Our lovely Ebony is enjoying a few weeks off of RDA work on holiday after working once hard over the last year. As she is only young and is proving to be an outstanding Rda pony but we do like to try and give some of the ponies a break over the summer. We are looking forward to giving her a few adventures over the next few weeks including a trip out in the lorry and some fun hacks in the woods.

Wyfold RDA is holding a lunchtime music event at our stables and an evening ceilidh at Shiplake Memorial Hall on July 11th.

In keeping with the RDA motto ā€œItā€™s what you CAN do that counts!ā€, music will be provided by The Bader Heritage Band, a group of musicians with physical, sensory or mental health conditions who, together with a couple of non-disabled support players, produce a quality professional sound covering a range of genre including Big Band, Jazz, Ensemble and Ceilidh music.Ā 

The events aim to raise funds to support the ongoing costs of Wyfold RDA and to support the amazing Badder Heritage Band!

We were delighted to be joined by a few people from vodafoneuk who came on Tuesday to spend a few hours to help us out with a few jobs around the yard. They helped clear our boundary fence which gets very overgrown and they also started painting the arena fence for us. It was wonderful to see them and we were very grateful for all their hard work despite the heatwave!
