We are a Riding for the Disabled centre that provides riding and driving lessons to disabled people.

We run 6 days a week in the mornings set in the beautiful grounds of the Wyfold Estate.

Can you offer one of our wonderful ponies the perfect retirement home? Sadly our lovely Darcey has had to be retired due to medical issues and is now on the look out for a new home. If you can offer her a home where she can live out 247 as a NON ridden companion with access to somewhere to get out of the mud for a few hours in the winter then please get in contact with us.

We are super sad to say that we waved goodbye to the lovely Maggie a few weeks as she went to her new home. having tried so hard to help her want to be an
RDA pony we had to make the sad decision that she just wasn't happy here with us. thankfully she is so happy in her new home and is thriving already which we are so glad to see!!

Our very own Saturday Coach Katie is officially RDA NEW COACH OF THE YEAR 2026!!!

Not only does she make our participants feel good about themselves but she also makes the whole Saturday team feel good about themselves. Fabulous coach and motivator

We had a lovely visit from Oxfordshire’s Lord Lieutenant this morning. It was great to be able to show them around our wonderful facilities and meet some of our wonderful ponies and team of volunteers!

Today we had 3 volunteers head to Blenheim International Horse Trials to be interviewed by international para dressage rider on the chat stage!

We had a great time and got to share how we got involved with RDA and what we love most about Wyfold! Phoebe even managed to sneak Ebony’s name in as her favourite pony!

Last week we took Ebony and Elsie out for a little trip out to a local yard to see what they are like in a new environment. They were both very good ponies and had a lovely time!

Wow what a busy July we’ve had! We may have been quiet on socials but we’ve been beavering away behind the scenes! Have a look at some pictures we remembered to take this month!

1 and 2. We had a massage course where we got to paint the bones on Ebony who wasn’t that impressed!
3. Darcey went to the pub for Katie’s leaving hack
4. We’ve hidden from the relentless heat
5. Very pleased to still be able to feed grass thanks to our new grazing system.
6. Got excited over some rain that then never appeared
7. Rebuilt the hay barn which is so nearly finished
8 and 9 oh and we brought a new pony called Dollar 🤣

It’s been a great month and we are so looking forward to what August brings as long as it brings cooler temperatures and some rain!

Our lovely Ebony is enjoying a few weeks off of RDA work on holiday after working once hard over the last year. As she is only young and is proving to be an outstanding Rda pony but we do like to try and give some of the ponies a break over the summer. We are looking forward to giving her a few adventures over the next few weeks including a trip out in the lorry and some fun hacks in the woods.

This evening we also have our ceilidh event which we are all very excited about! It’s from 7pm until 10pm so all finished in time for the football lovers to be home to watch the next game!
