Today marks the end of a chapter for Shaggy and Chic, but the beginning of a new one for our Ella. Ella came to us as a Saturday girl when she was only 17 years old and then completed her grooming apprenticeship here. Since then she has gone on to work as a full time groomer and then started her own grooming business whilst renting a table at Shaggy & Chic. Her dream has always been to open her own salon and now that dream has finally come true. To watch her blossom into the talented groomer that she is today has been an honour and I am unbelievably proud of her for chasing her dream. Ella can now be found in the lovely Old Town of Hemel Hempstead at her shiny new salon, Botanical Bark. Good luck Ella, we wish you every success 😃🐶💕

Due to temporary traffic lights in and around Apsley the best approach to the salon by car is either from Durrants hill where you can park in the public car park on the right hand side at the bottom of the hill (before passing over the bridge) or parking in the McDonalds area (approaching from Boxmoor)
