Frankie’s back for his second day train with us. We’ve already seeing some great progress.
He’s growing in confidence, becoming more comfortable in different environments and, most importantly, improving his neutrality around other dogs.
One of the biggest advantages of our Day Train is that Frankie gets to experience real life, not just a training setup.
And yes… that includes having my own dogs around him.
Because genuine environmental exposure means experiencing the sights, sounds, movement and distractions that your dog is actually going to encounter in everyday life.
There’s a big difference between simply having another dog present and training around a genuinely neutral dog. A dog sat on a place board while you train isn’t the same as working around dogs that are freely moving, walking, training and going about their business. That’s real world exposure teaching Frankie to stay neutral around dogs in everyday situations, not just in a controlled obedience setup.
Not every trainer has the ability or the setup to have multiple neutral, trained dogs around during a Day Train. It’s something we can offer, and it’s a valuable part of Frankie’s development.
Slowly building confidence, teaching neutrality and preparing him for real life not just the training field.
