🐕Puppies - 6pm

🐕‍🦺 Older/Advance dogs - 7:30pm

A typical walk for us..I try to keep things simple but consistent.
Frequent engagement and check ins, not always during predictable moments..lots of time for them to 'be dogs', the odd trick.. but mostly things I need them to be able to do should wildlife/loose dog appear and also to allow them to switch off and have fun too!

Is there anything else you would do?
Can you take anything from our walk that you'd like to do on your walks?

Freeze those kongs with mashed fruit, squish some yogurt on licky mats.. get those paddling pools out and limit walks..It's just too humid!!

🌟It's not an illusion🌟... you really are seeing a Labrador leave food!

Chloe was learning how to have some impulse control, and chose to leave the food without being told to.

That happy tail says it all!! Such a good girl 😊

Session 2 on our reverse middle .. now called "Park it". (Thanks Corrine!)
We're at an agility competition today so in-between runs I thought we'd do another short session.

I was more distracted, as is he! So my handling probably isn't as clear, but I always try to teach focus skills/tricks in new spaces.. but keeping it less than 2mins makes it easier & still fun 😊
