Play!!
I've always been a huge advocate for rewards.. especially through play.
Here my dog Zero has been struggling with some jumping skills & quick bursts of rewards let him know what I've asked for has been achieved..
A wonderful frustration release and enjoyment/bonding time too!

It's August..
Which means you might start to see harvest mites about. (Especially if walking in the countryside/woodlands)
Most flea treatments protect against, and washing their feet after walks certainly can help.
Speak to your vet if your pooches are itchy or if you want to check they're protected 🐾
