🍂🐾 Winter is creeping in, the mud is appearing, and those wet doggy smells are back! 🐾🍂

Cocker Spaniels are among the many breeds who absolutely LOVE a muddy walk! 🐶❤️ But all that fun comes with muddy paws, damp coats and that familiar wet dog smell! 😂💦

Drax and Balu were just two of the gorgeous working Cockers I’ve had in this week for a much needed freshen up! 🛁✨

Their pamper sessions included: 🐾 A tidy up of the feet, legs and ears, all those areas where mud and dirt love to collect! 🧴 A deep clean and conditioning treatment to get their coats feeling soft and smelling fresh again. ✂️ A nail trim to help prevent those long, tippy tappy toes! 👂 A lovely ear clean. 🦷 A freshen-up of their teeth.

All finished off with plenty of TLC to get these handsome boys looking, feeling and smelling amazing again! 😍🐾

With winter on the way, a little extra grooming can make all the difference in keeping those muddy pups clean, comfortable and fresh between walks! 🍂🛁❤️

🐾✨ Another hairy day in the salon! ✨🐾

It’s definitely shedding season, and today it was the gorgeous River who filled the salon with German Shepherd fluff! 🐕💨😂

With the help of Woof Wellness Ultra Deshed Shampoo and plenty of scrubbing, blasting and brushing, River is looking like a brand new girl and feeling a whole lot lighter! 🛁🫧

This lovely lady had the full works;🐾 Full deshed treatment 🦷 Teeth cleaning ✂️ Nail trimming 🐾 Paw pad trimming 👂 Ear cleaning 💗 A little paw balm to finish off those paws!

River was an absolute superstar! 🌟💖

The only thing I need to invest in now is some blinds, as this girl absolutely LOVED chatting to her own reflection in the salon windows! 😂🪟🐶

It was such a pleasure to meet and groom you, River! 💕 I hope to see you again soon for more pampering. 🐾❤️

It’s a wet, wild and stormy one out there today! 🌧️💨 I hope you’re all having a lovely day and keeping safe and cosy with your doggies. 🐶❤️

We’re heading into autumn now, and you can definitely feel it in the air! 🍂 The coats are coming out, the wellies are on, and the muddy paw prints are well and truly back! 🐾😂

Lots of soggy doggies, muddy paws and cosy cuddles ahead! 🐕🍁❤️

🍂🐾 It was so lovely to see Gabi & Raffi today! 🐶❤️

Although they weren’t too sure about a groom to start with, it didn’t take long to win them over with some yummy treats and make them feel right at home! 🥰🦴

These two had a full pamper session today, and here are a few little snippets of their spa day! ✨🛁

🫧 We started with an ultra deshedding shampoo, followed by a deshedding mask and ultra conditioner, plus a lovely foam facial to get them feeling fresh and fabulous!

✂️ Once they were squeaky clean, it was time for their hand stripping, de-shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning, paw pad clipping and a nice scissor tidy of their feet.

🦷✨ I also gave their teeth a little freshen up with an ultrasonic teeth cleaning session, adding an extra touch to their pamper day! 🪥🐶

🌸 Finished off with a spritz of fresh cologne, these two were absolutely gleaming and smelling amazing! 😍

We had lots of cuddles along the way, and Gabi & Raffi are now all clean, fresh and autumn ready for their little holiday adventure! 🍁🍂🐾🐶❤️

🐾 Meet Wallace! 🐾

Well, I can safely say Wallace is DEFINITELY the biggest dog we’ve ever had in for grooming at Becky’s! 😂🐶 Honestly, he’s more like a small pony! 🐴❤️

But what a gentle giant he was! 🥰💙

I have a feeling I’ll still be finding Wallace around the salon over the next couple of days, even after my deep clean! 😂🙈

After a 3½-hour groom, this big lad is now sparkling clean, completely dry, and thoroughly brushed out to get rid of all that dead hair! ✨🛁🪮

I really should have taken more videos and photos of this gorgeous boy, but I got so involved in his groom that I completely forgot! 🙈😂 I was far too busy concentrating on getting him looking and feeling his best! ❤️🐾

Talk about a gym workout! 💪😂 I think Wallace and I both deserve a rest after that one!

He’s now feeling silky smooth, smelling gorgeous, and looking fabulous not to mention feeling a whole lot lighter without all that loose hair! ✨💙

What a lovely boy you are, Wallace! ❤️🐶

🐾✨ A gorgeous trio of spaniels and one very special first groom! ✨🐾

I had the pleasure of grooming these gorgeous doggies: Mabel and Stevie, the English Show Cocker Spaniels, and Alfie, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. 🐶💕

They were all in need of a good spruce up, from tidying those lovely spaniel toes and silky furnishings to hand stripping their coats. Each had their own individual needs, and it was so lovely to see each of them looking and feeling their best after their pamper sessions! ✂️🛁✨

Stevie had her very first groom with me, and wow… I think I’ve fallen in love! 🥹❤️ What a sweetheart!

Mabel was super relaxed, too, even though this was only her second groom with me. With lots of treats, cuddles and reassurance, we had plenty of happy, waggy tails all round! 🐾🥰

I’m so pleased with how they all turned out and can’t wait to see these lovely faces again soon! 💕🐶

🐶✂️ It’s been a busy one with lots of very hairy, woolly coated doggies! 🐾💕

From Ludo the Labradoodle to Carlos the Cavapoo, and Pippin, Maggie and Roxy the Cockapoos, they’ve all been in for a pamper session! 🛁✨

All different shapes and sizes, but they’ve all gone home with their gorgeous curly locks looking neat, tidy and fabulous! 😍🐩

🏆 A special award goes to Roxy for being the hairiest doggy of the day! 😂✂️ She definitely kept me busy!

Lots of lovely curls, wagging tails and happy doggies! ❤️🐾

🐾💕 These two are just the CUTEST! 🥰 What a wonderful, fun evening with these two gorgeous girls, making them look super cute! ✂️🐶💖

Mabel showed Mango how to be a star doggy during her groom, and Mango absolutely loved her second puppy groom! 🐾✨ She was such a brave girl, taking everything in her stride like a little superstar! 🌟

With plenty of treats along the way, Mango was super relaxed and even had a little snooze on the grooming table while Mabel was having her haircut! 😴💕 How adorable is that?! 🥹❤️

I honestly could keep these two! They are the cuddliest, sweetest, most adorable little girls, and I absolutely loved spending time with them both! 🥰🐶💗

🐾✨ Ever wondered what happens when your dog comes in for a de-shed? ✨🐾

Here’s Jessie’s groom, from start to finish! 🛁💗

We start by making friends and getting settled in the bath 🥰, then it’s time for wash number one with woof wellness Ultra De-Shed Shampoo!

Next up, it’s mud pack time! 🧖‍♀️ woof wellness de-shedding clay gets massaged into the coat to help loosen and remove all that dead hair. Then it’s a good rinse, conditioner, and while that’s doing its magic, a lovely foaming facial to freshen up that gorgeous face! 🫧🐶

After a thorough rinse, it’s time for the BIG dry! 💨 Blast, blast, blast! Then we switch to the stand dryer and brush through to get even MORE loose hair out.

We finish off with: ✂️ Nail trimming 👂 Ear cleaning 🐾 Paw pad tidy 🌸 A spritz of lovely cologne 🦴 A few extra treats 🎉 And, of course, a photo to finish!

And just look at Jessie now! 😍 Looking fresh, fabulous and feeling lighter, with a LOT less loose hair!

But let's be honest… the hardest part of a de-shed isn't always the dog… it's the HUGE clean up afterwards! 😂💨🐕 There's enough hair to make another dog! 🤣
