Sweet senior dog Bertha is 8 years old, and she was found tied to a tree 💔 Some people found her and took her to the shelter, where she now lays hopeless waiting for a new family to come and save her… are you the one? 🥺❤️🙏🏻

I took this video of Odin today because I wanted everyone to see what I was seeing during his walk…
This broke my heart… he is 8 years old and was left in a shelter. He doesn’t understand what is going on…he kept looking around and looking for a family who will never come back 😭💔

He’s good with dogs, loves kids, and is house trained … he just needs a cat-free home. Please share so Odin can find the family he deserves 🙏🏻❤️

SAVE DURANGO

While volunteering at the shelter, I meet dogs of every size, color, and age.

And while I love them all…
some dogs just stay with me a little longer.
Some leave a mark I can’t explain — maybe it’s the look in their eyes,
or maybe it’s because I imagine what it must feel like to be in their place.

That’s exactly what happened with Durango.

The moment I saw him in his kennel, I started crying.
I didn’t even know why — I just felt it.
And I cried for most of our walk.

He was the happiest boy, greeting me with the biggest smile.
So gentle, so sweet… just grateful to be noticed.

If I could adopt a dog from the shelter right now —
it would be him. 💔🥺

I don’t know why I’m writing all of this, or if anyone will even read it…
but if you are reading this, and you have room for one more…

Oh, Durango…💔

My heart hurts for this sweet senior.
His file says he’s 7 years old, but to me, he looks just a little older.
He still has energy, and he walks beautifully on a leash…
But there’s something in his eyes — a quiet sadness, a tired hope.

He was sound asleep in his bed, all alone in his kennel.
But the second he saw me, everything changed.
His tail wagged, his eyes lit up… and the look on his face when he realized it was his turn for a walk — it broke me.
He was just so grateful to be outside with someone.
I was already crying before we even stepped out.

I’m heartbroken for all the dogs at the shelter…
But the seniors always hit a little harder.
It’s like they gave someone all their best years —
and now, when they need love the most, they’re left with nothing. 💔

I made Durango a promise.
That I would try my best to find him a family.
And I believe that someone out there will see what I see —
a gentle, special soul who just wants to be loved again.

Please… if you are his person, come meet him.
You’ll fall in love the moment you do.

⭐️⭐️ STAR’S FREEDOM RIDE ⭐️⭐️
The power of community 💛

When Star’s video was posted, messages poured in.
People wanted to help.
Wanted to adopt.
Wanted to send her gifts.
Star may be deaf — but she was heard loud and clear.

Two families even showed up at the shelter.

Alex came first, with her dog for a meet and greet.
But while she was there, she heard a mom and her little boy were also waiting to meet Star.
They had recently lost their 16-year-old deaf dog…
And when they saw Star, they said: “She’s the one.”

Alex could’ve said no — she was there first.
Instead, she put herself in that little boy’s shoes…
And gave them the chance to meet her too.
They did — and they adopted her. 💫

To the kind family who gave Star her forever home -

💔 STAR’S HEARTBREAK 💔
First, her family gave her up because they were “moving.”
Then yesterday, she was adopted… only to be returned the same day — just for being deaf.

She’s only 1 year old.
She’s sweet.
She’s loving.
She did nothing wrong.

Now she sits in a kennel, confused and heartbroken, not understanding why no one stays…

✅ Up to date on shots

She’s the full package — she just needs someone to see her worth. Please give Star the chance she deserves.

MALINA is 9 years old and weighs just 46 lbs. She was found as a stray on 05/15… and no one ever came for her.

How is that possible?
Where was she for the first 9 years of her life?
How can people just let them go and never look back?

She is the longest resident at the shelter. She’s stressed, she’s shutting down, and she’s completely out of time.

The shelter is full again — and Malina needs a miracle.

She was found on the streets, doing everything she could to keep her babies safe.

Animal control picked up her puppies first…
And when they came back for her, she had no fight left.

She raised them all on her own for two months.
Now they’re adopted… and she’s still waiting.
