At Torr Farm Dog Day Care, we offer two ways to join our pack so you can choose what works best for you and your dog:

🐶 Monthly Subscription Membership

Perfect for regular daycare. By choosing a set number of days each week, your dog enjoys consistency, routine, and guaranteed space on your chosen days. This option gives peace of mind, knowing your dog always has their spot reserved and is building strong bonds in a familiar environment. Minimum commitment: one day per week. Additional days can be added as needed.

🐶 Flexible Daycare Passes

Ideal if you need more flexibility. Buy a block of 5 passes and use them whenever it suits you. You’ll still enjoy the same enriching care and engaging environment, with the freedom to book days around your schedule. Bookings are subject to availability, but we have good capacity across the week — so it’s easy to find days that work for you. Minimum commitment: one day per month.

Learning Social Skills and Mixing Together

Dogs can often show over exuberant and intense behaviour when meeting each other. The approach of some dogs can often unsettle the other…

In situations like that the human mire is the that not becomes unsettled themselves, struggles with the equipment against the dog’s power, and they give a variety of verbal communications that are mostly unheard, misunderstood, or just ignored by the dog…

The scenario is repeated when passing other dogs and the frustration builds to become an anticipated habit.

It may not be easy by I recommend making an effort to talk to the owners of the other dogs and arrange a walk together…

Get on the move, or ask if you can join them a short way on the walk, and if you can meet up regularly to do it…

This way the dogs get to know each other a little, they learn about each other, small communications are made, and social skills improve.

Before long some familiarity is established, meetings are less intense, and perhaps the move can be made to off lead play and interaction. This removes much of the stress and frustration and the dogs learn to be social with each other quite quickly.

Friendships are made, rules between the dogs are established, and management and response from your dog is much easier.

Dogs are social beings by nature and they get frustrated when they cannot indulge in that. Yes, things may be intense to begin with, but the dogs soon learn and relationships are made.

That’s a win, win for both owner and dog.

At Torr Farm, our outdoor spaces have been designed to give dogs the freedom to explore, sniff, play and simply be dogs.

With three large all-weather play areas, including a play paddock and a huge fully enclosed field, there’s plenty of room for off-lead adventures and natural exploration. 🌳🐕‍🦺

It's important to us that every dog is cared for as an individual so we created a countryside home-from-home where dogs can play, explore and relax.
