🎆 *Bonfire Night is approaching!* 🐾

Just a little reminder for those with pets who find fireworks stressful.

If your pet has needed medication during previous firework seasons, it's worth checking you've got everything sorted ahead of time.

If you need a repeat prescription or would like some advice, we're always happy to offer advice. 😊🐾💙

Meet Bailey! 💚💙

Some dogs aren't too sure about visiting the vets… but not Bailey! 😂

Bailey absolutely loves coming to see us. She's always ready for cuddles, a little fuss and, of course, the all-important biscuits! 🦴❤️

And judging by these photos, Bailey knows exactly how to get what she wants. We think she's got Katie very well trained! 🤭🐶

A wee heads-up for our local pet families: there’s a fireworks display on 17 October. 🎆

If fireworks worry your pet, please give us a call.

Demand for fireworks-related prescriptions is higher at this time of year, so please get in touch a few days beforehand to give us time to arrange any medication needed.

We’re always here to help. 😊

Meet Eleanor, or Ellie for short — Mae’s very cute cat with a very serious face. Mae is part of our admin team. 💙🐾

Ellie recently popped in for a check-up and stayed with us for a wee while. Naturally, she took the opportunity to supervise from her kennel.

We’ll let her expression speak for itself. 😂

Over the past few weeks, we have sadly said goodbye to several much-loved pets. We know how difficult it is to lose such an important member of the family.

This post is in memory of them all, and for the families who loved them so deeply. Thank you for trusting us with their care—it was a privilege to be there for them. 🌈🐾

If you are struggling with the loss of a pet and need some support, please contact the practice, We’d be glad to help. 💙

🦔 Meet Pruna & Mela 💙💚

These two little girls were handed in to us by the same person, so we think they may even be sisters. Both arrived with quite severe skin problems and were very hungry.

When they first arrived, they wasted no time getting stuck into the meat-based cat food we offered them — fish-based diets are best avoided in hedgehogs. 🥹

They’re now receiving treatment and rehabilitation with us while they recover and build their strength back up. For now, they’re safe, eating well and keeping us entertained at mealtimes. 💚

🐾 Lomond Legends: Meet Archie 🧡

Archie has been part of the Lomond family for many years, and we always look forward to seeing his handsome face!

He visits us every month for his laser therapy and Solensia injection as part of his ongoing care. He’s become a very familiar face around the practice, and it’s lovely to see him settling in for his regular appointments.🐱💙

This handsome lad is Steph's baby — a big young boy with an even bigger personality. Jackson can be a bit of a worrier and likes to keep Steph on her toes, especially when he suspects a trip to the practice might involve jags 😹

But even with his cheeky side, Jackson is a firm favourite with all of his aunties at Lomond, who absolutely adore him. 💙

Our frequent visitor, Lola 🐾💚

At this point, we’re pretty sure Lomond Vets is just Lola’s second home 😂 She pops in nearly every day, checks that everything is in order… and, most importantly, demands her treats.

Honestly, we think she has us very well trained. 😆

Alan came in for his follow-up check and, as you can see, had his priorities firmly in order… treats first, cuddles a very close second 😂🐾

He’ll do pretty much anything for either — and was, of course, a very good boy. 💙
