Ponderosa Zoo Operated by Ponderosa Zoo Ltd. We have multiple outdoor play areas and a Lakeside restaurant. Hot meals can be purchased from the Lakeside Restaurant.

Based in West Yorkshire and home to over 100 animals, Ponderosa Zoo offers a great day out for animal lovers!

*Our lemur walkthrough and air bouncers are closed during bad weather. Ponderosa Zoo is family friendly with over 140 animals, including Lemurs, Meerkats, Otters, Scottish Wildcats, Reindeer and many more! Two of our zookeepers have just returned from Madagascar, working alongside the incredible charity SEED Madagascar to take part in vital in-situ conservation work. 🐾

They’ve been getting involved in various wildlife surveys, as well as carrying out research projects on our behalf, helping to contribute to the understanding and protection of Madagascar’s unique biodiversity. 🔎🌱

We’re incredibly proud of the work they’re doing and can’t wait to share more about their experiences and discoveries! 💚
