Health update on Vikki
Hi, once again thank you for all the well wishes and asking after me. Much appreciated.
So, things have now gone from being told in May that it doesn't ever look like surgery could be an option due to one of the tumours being too close too a blood vessel and just carry on with the immunotherapy.

Last set of scans have shown a change and surgery to remove the cancer is now a possibility. Haven't been given a date yet as got a couple of hurdles to get over first but they are hoping for beginning to mid October.

It is a major surgery lasting 7 hours and will also be given a hysterectomy in that time.
I will be kept in hospital 4-6 weeks and full recovery is expected to take 6 to 12 months.
So it might be a bit rough but hopefully I'll be cancer free ♥️

If you have made appointments for the rest of the year these appointments still stand and it will either be Kirsty or Karina grooming them while I am off.
I'm still struggling to get my pain under control and feeling fatigue from this and chemo treatment, but I'm still fighting to get better ♥️

All customers who are booked in up to 4th July have been contacted. If you haven't heard from me then we have managed to keep your original appointment in.

So, I am currently in hospital again and with advice from my oncologist and stoma nurse and begging from my family and friends I will be taking time off work.

How long I will be off I'm not sure. As things stand at the moment my tumor is inoperable and cancer treatment is starting to take its toll on me. So I need to fully rest and recover as much as I can and look at other holistic approaches to give myself a good fighting chance.

Polished pups can take bookings on a very limited schedule.
But there are 2 other groomers who rent tables within the salon and have 30 years experience between them. They manage their own diaries and workloads so you can always contact them to get booked in.
Nicola's number is 07738001941 and
Karina's number is 07401260230.

Thank you for all the messages of support and care. If they could cure cancer I'd definitely be fighting fit ❤️🐾
